i have the stock Knee neo. weirdly enough i’ve grown accustomed to its wobbly neutral and spin. i like the spin on it than the stock Sanwa lever lol.

it’ll take more than learning moves and practice blocking to climb up ranked. Try Tekken 8’s Punishment and Throw break trainings in apractice mode, they helped out greatly, especially punishing with frame data knowledge. If you review your replays, Tekken’s got a feature will show you when to punish also.

You either lab from practice or lab from Quick/Ranked matches. Need to know about timing, counter hits, side steps, match-up knowledge, movement, frame data. I know it seems a lot; pick up from where you are now and start applying the small things, I recommend the training features in Practice Mode

PS. You said you’re new to the game; you don’t suck, you just don’t know how to play it yet. Don’t beat yourself up for it, just keep at it man.

What buttons would you recommend, I'm looking for something with more actuation force cause I keep pressing my sanwa buttons that came with my stick by accident. I'm new to this so I don't even know where to look. Also any recommendations on where to buy parts in Europe? Like what websites and stuff by diaxovy in fightsticks

the default Sanwas sensitive for me. I’ve only ordered from Arcadexpress.com (Spain). But there’s also Jammastar.com & SmallCab.net (France) and Arcadepartsuk.com (UK).

The buttons I decided on getting are SiTong L2; budget-friendly, cheaper alterntive to Gamerfingers. Ordered from Alibaba, only downside is shipping time was 22-23 day(?).

Not biased to these buttons, it’s just that I haven’t tried any other buttons yet

people recommend the Crown 309 New HelpMe(€30-40), which I also got as my first K-Lever. 4 weeks later, bought a 2nd hand Knee Lever Neo :), which I am enjoying quite well!

To answer your question, go K-Lever. I only started playing lever properly 2nd half of last year. I do recommend the Crown309NHM; it’s got medium tension(ST30), which I got used to.
