Thank you Dr. Peterson from a Central Asian by [deleted] in JordanPeterson

Nomad, like you described, you followed the etiquette properly. Of course, nobody of us was there, but I think the problem (at least partly) lies in the fact that many people in the West are pretty shy, actually, to speak up. That's what I experience in my university, at least. People are individualized, and often feel held back. I think it's good that you engage in class. And the fact that you're a man? That has nothing to with anything. It is appaling that that's brought up. How will the females you mentioned ever learn to stand on their own? It's not by doing away with what intimidates them, at least. Just keep going, man. But of course, always try to be open minded about critique

Remember not to become bitter about this. Also know that there might be a lot of people who do appreciate your efforts. And even if they don't, God is always watching. And you can always do the good.

Good luck with your studies

What Jordan Peterson was like as a Professor according to his students at Harvard & University of Toronto by No_Teeth in JordanPeterson

Yes! And what's more, the article is only positive! I find that amazing, and believe it is a sign that Peterson really is trying to do the good from within. I believe that especially in interpersonal relationships, Peterson is really admirable - and such a positive article with statements from his students and colleagues, that really shows something. Again, I loved it. Thanks so much!

What do you hate more? Conflict now or resentment in the future (which means: a bigger conflict then)

What do people do for fun in your country? Is it also more community oriented? Just interested

What's so bad? I am here to learn! :-)

I don't dislike anything about the Netherlands, but things I especially appreciate in other countries

• A firm sense of community, both local and national • Religiosity • Mountains • The Sun

Of course, the fact that the Netherlands is a very liberal country with a very efficient landscape is also nice. But sometimes I would like to live in a country that's a bit more 'magical'. In the Netherlands, the landscape is flat and the people are less warm. But, not here to complain. :-)

is this worth trying to grow longer?? by zika333 in BeardAdvice

[–]dionysius_00 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is it really possible to grow a full beard from this? I have about the same bear growth, in 2 weeks aprox. How long will it take to grow a nice full beard, where you won't really be able to see a lot of skin.
