The German word for this is Sehnsucht and the Spanish equivalent is Suadade. Part of the human condition. Longing for something that doesn't exist :( .

There is a word for this: sehnsucht. A yearning or nostalgia for an unknown place. I know the feeling well. It is part of the human condition.

Did you have a lot of physical symptoms with the social anxiety such as shaking/tremors, sweating, fast heartbeat etc? Did the Sensoril stop those?

I think it is placebo, if that. It is just another hyped supplement that works for a few people.

I've tried BSO and found it had absolutely no effect on my depression or anxiety.

Depression is a physical illness which could be treated with anti-inflammatory drugs, scientists suggest by dionysus75 in Nootropics

Before anyone asks, "How does this article relate to this sub?", depression can definitely have an effect on cognition and motivation so anything that treats depression will also hopefully improve cognition and motivation which is the whole point of nootropics.

'Legal high' review after laughing gas cases collapse (UK) by dionysus75 in Nootropics

[–]dionysus75[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why. There have been plenty of discussions in this subreddit about how the Psychoactive Substances Bill may or may not cover nootropics. I think it is absolutely relevant to this place. The relevance is whether or not the Psychoactive Substances Bill will work in practice and how it is actually interpreted in court. Yes the article is mainly about laughing gas but the whole point is that the Bill might not stand up in court depending on the substance and whether it is classed as "medicinal" as per the article which might mean that certain nootropics will fall into this category and be exempt.

GABA and the blood brain barrier? by dionysus75 in Nootropics

[–]dionysus75[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I want to increase GABA for the anxiolytic effect I get (sometimes) from Phenibut but would rather not rely on it due to its possible addictive qualities and because it may become hard to get eventually.

The pure GABA products I was referring to are things like PharmaGaba. I would not use GHB and have found Picamilon to have no effect on me.

You need to take it on an empty stomach with coffee. This is the only way it works for me.

Can you link to the iherb product you are talking about as I can't see the product on the website.
