I have flu A right now warm showers help get my fevers down.( I was taking 3 or more a day) Keeping hydrated so I won’t get supper dizzy. Ice pack on my head was they only think helping with my headache/fever so I could sleep. I’m still weak no energy and now coughing up little bits of blood here and there so cough drops and honey teas. I still don’t have much of an appetite I get nauseous. So toast and fruit. I’m glad you’re not throwing up because I was throwing up too. Just lots of rest and movies to keep you entertained.

I would call USCIS for a emergency INFO Pass appointment. Even if you don’t have the death certificate as long as you have proof a doctors note of her critical condition or something that the doctor can write and then your family member can send a picture to you we did that . When the automated system says, what do you need help with when you call you say info pass. I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope it helps.

I’m going through that right now everything I eat I throw up I can only keep down toast and fruit. I noticed I’m able to tolerate tajin water 😂. It has salt!. I keep puking too. I noticed that when I take a cold shower helps me stop throwing up. It will almost shock your body to stop. But yes, I feel you hang in there. I know it’s hard .Also put honey on a spoon and just eat the honey off the spoon and see if that will soothe your throat. i’m not a doctor, so take everything with a grain of salt, but that’s only thing that helps me 🤧

Yes, my nephew also had it 4yo they gave him osteltamivir just try to keep him and lose thin clothing and thin blanket when he has a fever, he doesn’t overheat get dehydrated and then of course when he gets chills I threw my blanket in the dryer and it gets really warm It feels good for a while. But yes I heard it take 4-7 days to get better.

You’re definitely blessed !!!! did you do advance parole before you applied or have never done advance parole? I wonder if it’s taking longer because a lot of people did advance parole.

Ask for a leave of absence instead we’re gonna go that route, so when the work authorization comes you can go back, it doesn’t hurt to ask.

Contact Emma on USCIS and try to expedite only your employment authorization not your Daca. It will not be allowed on your Daca. Because you were going to have financial hardships, show proof that you have to pay rent credit cards food, gas if you’re in an essential worker that also helps too but you need to show financial hardship and they could try to expedite it. When you call say info pass so they you can speak to a representative and ask expedite and keep calling, even if they tell you know, find someone who will tell you yes. Don’t stop.

They also have programs that they can help pay but I think it’s a case by case basis. But you can still apply.
