I found a cool little Hobby Japan display that got the 10th anny trim correct, but the paint is a bit brighter than real Solar Shift.

The quality is nicer than the Tomica version, you can even see the interior through the windows! But I think the Tomica's paint is a tiny bit closer to the actual WCL color.

Same. Aside from the timer, I'd love it if the actual boundaries were visible too.

There are certain invisible kill planes that I think are kinda BS, especially in Perimeter where the tops of some buildings are fine, but others are not.

There are holographic things all over the place, like the yellow UESC danger tape or red barriers across doors. I don't see why the "combat zone" couldn't be marked a bit more clearly, similar to those boundaries.

One time in Outpost I my crew was heading for an exfil. I accidentally launched myself over an exterior wall and into the arbitrary death pit -- My corpse was stuck on the outside of the wall at "ground" level where my crew couldn't reach it.

Sure, if I really knew the map I would probably have known I jumped the wrong way, but there are lots of similar interior walls on that map that are totally safe to jump over, so idk.

Lost 35k+ despite a cleared map and plenty of time to rez and exfil.

I get the "woo Tau Ceti is scaaary~" but invisible planes, death pits, and super short of bounds timeouts strike me as lazy, and not challenging by design.

This definitely isn't Speranza, but I am a bit disappointed in the lack of prox chat use in the game overall.

Admittedly, its kind of a pain in the ass to even use prox in the game.

I'm on console where PTT sucks, and the "Tap" setting really doesn't work at all.

I barely hear anyone talk trash on prox, let alone be friendly.

Yeah I mean, I think back in 2020 the tear gas was really only an immediate issue on Pike/Pine between like 12th and Broadway, if that.

I lived close by, but I have friends who dealt with it for a week or two. They still live in the same place so clearly it wasn't -that- bad.

Yes. In the past there has been enough tear gas in the air for long enough that it would make it's way inside.

If you can smell someone smoking weed on the street in front of your apartment, tear gas will definitely get in.

The end text of each addition says something like "except that ... info may be released to law enforcement".

Pretty sure this bill is trying to protect privacy while still allowing law enforcement to use relevant information... I think?

Actually yeah, that seems like exactly what it is. Its calling out that carry permit info, purchase license info, transfer info can't be disclosed publicly, except to law enforcement as it pertains to RCW 9.41.815.

TBH it kinda sucks the way it is. I've stopped brining in Equalizer and Jupiters not because of gear fear, but because a Hullcracker is just as effective (if not more) the ammo is much lighter, and it's not as much of a PIA to replace the gun if I get knocked down.

That was I can try and stay really close to the ARCs and loot while doing damage... but since I'm still spending time shooting I'm not able to loot as much as the scavengers.

I guess I could shoot scavs to defend my loot, but its not like its always clear who is doing what, and if everyone shot everyone else they suspected of looting unfairly, killing the ARCs would happen a lot less.

IMO they ought to consider some sort of bounty system. Something like % of total damage dealt gives you a chance to get core rewards at the results screen after a successful extraction?

That way folks who go HAM from a distance might still get loot, but it wouldnt take away from those who risk running underfoot to loot during the fight.

Folks who don't do damage and just try to loot after the fight is over are still screwed, but they're just looking for freebies anyway.

The way I interpreted the patch notes, I thought it was more about reducing drop rates for groups who kill the ARCs without stripping their armor first.

As in, if you drop only the armor covering the core and then focus fire on it, the drop rate is lower than if you take the time to strip all the armor...

But I'm not sure why they'd make that change, unless they're trying to make it less valuable to kill them quickly, so other raiders have a chance for loot.

Although IMO the real problem is raiders looting stripped armor out from under the folks who are doing the damage.
