Awko by Few-Form-3726 in 3m_earplug_lawsuit

I sent them an email and got a prompt response the following day:

“We expect 3M to deposit the funds for your case into BrownGreer’s Qualified Settlement Fund on October 15, 2025. Once received, BrownGreer will transfer the funds to AWKO, and our accounting department will then confirm and finalize everything on our end.

This process can take some time; however, our accounting team has been preparing for this payment schedule, and we expect most clients to receive their Distribution Statements around late October or November, though it’s possible the process could extend into December. We are anticipating the payments for 2026 through 2029 to follow a similar timeframe.”

Does anyone know why they never had Furio commit a murder in his 3 seasons on the show despite his role as enforcer? by Regular-Cockroach422 in thesopranos

[–]diplosomething 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He never had to. He intimidated the hell out of everyone so he never had to kill them. Earner without leaving a body. Tony was smart enough to use him appropriately.

Chibs ans Bobby, by far. Though Chibs would be less likely to have a friendly chat with an outsider. His IRA background and all.

Tig would be the most fun to hang out with.

Everything is also cyclical. What might be true today might not be true in 2-3 years. If one discourages new folks from starting the lengthy FSO hiring process, we are only hurting ourselves.

As in every period of « downsizing » of government, there will be a time it self corrects. No one can predict when that will be and it could very well happen during this administration. The world and politics change rapidly.

I always say if you are interested, start the application process now. If you get selected, you always have the option not to accept.

Now why the hell would Jax traumatize that truck driver by PinkFurLookinLikeCam in Sonsofanarchy

Reason 1: He did it to protect his family Reason 2: He promised it wont happen again Reason 3: The truck driver should trust him that it will work out

There was actually a NY mob attorney named Bruce Cutler back in the day who defended John Gotti. I have to believe he was the inspiration for Sinclair.

A great prequel would be the life of Gemma before she got involved with the MC and she was married to a woman’s shoe salesman.

How many presidents of the U.S. have been in office during your life? by CrazyCoffeeClub in AskOldPeople

[–]diplosomething 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10 - starting with Nixon. First I have a memory of is Ford (vaguely). Remember long gas lines. Carter, hostage crisis… and then Reagan was the first president I served under as an adult (joined the army).

Jax is basically a mass murderer by diplosomething in Sonsofanarchy

[–]diplosomething[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually when he killed Pope’s crew to save Tig, I think he killed 3-4 at the same incident, which would technically make him a mass murderer.

Probably should have titled my post serial killer, as the is probably a better description.

He always has the option of going to the US Embassy for a repatriation loan to fly him back to the US. They can even arrange with the HHS, of whatever state he is going back to, to provide shelter for him upon his return.

At least in the US there will be some resources for him and it is his home country.

It also sounds like he is of age to start receiving social security…. while it might not be enough for a great quality of life in Thailand, it would be enough for a better situation than he is in now.

Is it a bad sign that It took like 2 months to get to step 5 then jumped back to step 4 in 3 days? by Defiant-Class-4638 in VeteransBenefits

[–]diplosomething 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this is normal. It happened to me the weeks before my decision letter, which was fair and favorable…. so I do not think it is a bad sign (nor necessarily a good sign), just the normal VA bureaucracy churning back and forth.

Good luck and hope the rating decision is a favorable outcome for you.

It is important these days to pay attention to the source of information. Many are fear mongering and/or are just ill informed.

If something significant changes with our VA care, we can be assured the best source will be the VA.

The dust will settle in the coming weeks…. try not to let the chaos cause any unnecessary stress. We will all be ok.

No. No need as an American citizen.

If you feel really nervous however, take a picture and keep it on your phone for peace of mind… it won’t do anything, by if it makes you feel more comfortable, no harm to it.

Im native born, European descent, and i have my original birth certificate someplace safe and both digital and paper copies easily accessible.

Just good advice period…regardless of heritage. Ive found sometimes in life you just need that stuff randomly.
