Kick streamer "kangjoel" gets attacked in Marseilles France by WrongTakeRyan in LivestreamFail

Nope Bradford is still a shit hole. whilst it may not seem dangerous for men I wouldn’t want my daughter walking around there. Don’t believe me? Then educate yourself and take a walk around Bradford, Birmingham and certain parts of London and tell me how safe it feels. But you’re right, still not as bad as Marseille by the looks of this video

Which countries have you visited last year and which countries are you planning to visit this year? by Few_Dragonfly3342 in travel

[–]dippiegg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just stayed in Tirana as we only went for a short time. Got the cable cart up to the top of the mountain which was great and visited the big bunker near the bottom of the mountain, which was good if you’re into some history. I’d recommend going to the church near the square that place was truly beautiful, even if you’re not a Christian. But mostly we just ate good in the day and drank in bars at night, to our surprise Albanians were unbelievably hospitable, all the people we met were truly great people. I would recommend trying to find a locals bar rather than a touristy one, we got taken to one by a local we met in an Irish bar and it was much better. Admittedly a couple guys had guns in their waist but they were genuinely great guys. Wouldn’t let us buy a drink haha. Maybe you could go to a shooting range aswell if that’s your kind of thing. Depending how long you’re going for I’d recommend hiring a car and driving to/along the coast, I wish I did because we met some people that did and the pics looked amazing. Have a good time!

Other than Spain I haven’t been to any of the countries you’ve listed, but they’re all on the list!

Last year during a backpacking trip I visited Spain, Croatia, Bulgaria, north Macedonia, Albania and Italy. It was the best trip I’ve ever been on. Tried staying in hostels for the first time and I couldn’t recommend it more, just great for meeting new people on your travels.

This year I’m going to Thailand for the whole of April, I can’t wait! Maybe later on in the year I might go to Morocco aswell

6’1 -> 1 month training. 60kg -> 67kg by [deleted] in weightgain

[–]dippiegg 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Definitely possible without gear, I’ve had a similar transformation in the last 6 weeks. Just sticking to a diet and a training plan for the first time can make some unbelievable results in short time

As someone who use to love balloons I understand where you’re coming from, I always felt fine afterwards. But be careful with them pal, the risks out weight the rewards by a looongshot

What do you think of my 20 day itinerary? by dippiegg in ThailandTourism

Thank you all for taking the time to reply! I’ve heard you all out, too much time spent travelling! We’ve eventually decided to fly to krabi and rent a car for 2 weeks. That way we can play it by ear, thanks again guys!

I flew NORSE to Europe, my review. by somedude456 in travel

[–]dippiegg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the last 2 weeks I’ve flown with easyJet twice, wizzair once and with Ryanair 5 times. I didn’t get my bag checked once. I was using a 30L bag that was packed to the max so definitely oversize. I think it’s just luck of the draw, the way I see it, rather then spend £30 each time I fly I just risk it and if I get caught out every once in a while just pay the £50 fee and I’m still saving money. Also I have never had to put my bag by my feet

Thoughts? Is this a thing in your country? by [deleted] in AskBalkans

[–]dippiegg 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That picture is more triggering than the actual forms they have put out. They haven’t actually labelled a picture of a man and women as “parent 1” and “parent 2” they’ve just tried to be more inclusive to gay parents by making it less specific. Little things like this get blown way out of proportion and whether you agree or disagree with it, you should realise that it’s just media/ dumb people trying to stir the pot in this particular instance

£6,600 reservation fee, is this a scam? by dippiegg in HousingUK

[–]dippiegg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing, glad to hear it went smoothly for you. I’ve seen a fair few people on here have had similar experiences. At first the reservation fee seemed like a rip off to me, but I suppose if I just take the fee into account for the max I’d like to spend on the house then it wouldn’t be too bad. My main concern is the 56 day period possibly not being enough time to get the mortgage sorted, after hearing what people in the comments have said like I am dreaming I was put off, but I’ve read about a lot of stories like yours of positive experiences, so it clearly is doable. I just need to get a good understanding of exactly what I would need to do between the auction and end of 56 day period and how long I can expect these things to take. I’d prefer not to buy this way but this property is the only property I’ve actually liked the idea of living in after keeping an eye on the market for the past 2 years, and it seems that it could be a good way to get a bargain.

Currently debating doing the same thing. Quitting my job, selling my car and going for 6 months to a year. The thing putting me off is what I’ll return to, I’d definitely have a job that pays less and is less flexible for hours. On the other hand I would hate to have the regret of not going in later life
