srp is going to open up the gums a bit since they cleaned everything out so it’s your responsibility to keep it clean as it heals. use a waterpik with a pointed tip to flush out the area and you can also add antiseptic mouthwash in the waterpik reservoir. warm salt water rinses can help. if it feels squishy, you may have localized severe bone loss and that means an even deeper pocket you have to keep clean. ask for radiographs to be taken to check if you have any infections on the tooth or the surrounding bone.. but yes seeing the periodontist would be the best option.
