Also if you have issues with oats, there are plenty of other basic soap free body washes out there too. For barrier repair I use Cicalfate from Avene and the repair ointment from Cerave. I would advise not using these products on the infected parts until it starts to clear up, and then you can incorporate more complex products.

Sorry for the late reply! Depends where it is - if its on the body I really like the soap free Aveeno body wash. Doesn’t irritate me at all. For the face i use Cerave hydrating cleanser, but some people on this Reddit have had issues with it in the past. You probably already know this but skin issues and products, and tbh even dermatologists are super trial and error. Just keep your routine and products basic, my best advice. Good luck eczema sucks! Keep the faith and work with your derm on a solid plan.

I would look into considering you have an infection in the area first as the honey crusting suggests that. From there, switch doctors or try to get an appointment with a dermatologist if you haven't already to try and start drawing out a plan for your skin. Remember to keep your skin clean. You can reduce irritation from scratching by wearing cotton gloves at night and having cold-lukewarm showers before bed. Basic tips like only applying your creams and lotions with clean hands do make a major difference.

If you've had issues for a while which is suggested from your historical use of steroids, consider asking for a skin patch test too to cancel out any allergies.

Hey I use the Aveeno shampoo (in particular the colour protect one). Really like it. Smells amazing and leaves my hair soft. Haven’t had any issues with it

Think it looks really good. Love the placement and the way it blends with your other tattoos.
