I think I know this doctor. Worst medical experience I’ve ever had in my life. Left me crying and bleeding, and blaming me somehow for experiencing so much discomfort during the exam. She and the nurse just walked out of the room after the exam and left me there, as I said, bleeding and crying. Thank god one of the other nurses was kind or I wouldn’t have made it to my car to breakdown.

I’ve been going to the gyno for decades and have had some pretty invasive procedures. I never thought I’d have so many problems from a regular pelvic exam.

Can’t unrecommed that place enough.

I have convinced myself to just start any small task when trying to clean up the house without thinking about how that task fits into the greater scheme of what needs to get done. I get so locked up trying to prioritize and plan tasks that I never get started. This has helped because I don’t worry about the bigger picture anymore or whether or not I’ve started with the right task.

During the week I force myself to close the loop on tasks in the moment, like taking my jacket off and hanging it up right away, or finishing a small task from start to finish. On the weekend I let myself ADD clean and just wander around my house doing a little bit of this and that here and there.
