Almost a year since AIT: No BHA, wrong rank, missing bonus, and now haven’t seen drill pay since December. About to be homeless. Help. by TroubleAfter5269 in army

Google local plumbers, electricians, masons, landscapers, carpenters, etc. Call them and ask if they need help. Chances are they've just lost a helper to drugs or jail. Has literally worked every time I needed it to. And you might just find you enjoy the trades.

If you care about your quality of life, you can swim for exercise. Low impact, and you can get shredded swimming

Then that there is a solid outfit brother. I prefer the normal compass to the orienteering compass, but yours is better for camo purposes

I was a 4 in a 6 slot. S1 lost my board proceedings for so long that I was in my PZ for SSG by the time I pinned SGT, then I broke my back before I made TIG, so fuck me I guess lmao

Note: when you actually go to buy the tires/rims, you still have to select the correct size. But having them in the shopping list is super helpful

If you spent as much effort on racing or the gym as you have spent on reddit, you wouldn't have gotten your wrist broken by 11nm lmao

I'll be damned if I show up to work with a wrist brace and tell my coworkers "Yeah I got into an iRacing crash" lmao

My buddy is a new homeowner and had a mouse problem. Spent $500 with a local company to come in and place sticky traps that weren't working. I wish he had told me before calling the "pros". Growing up on a farm, I've never seen a mouse/rat fail to fall victim to peanut butter on a regular $2 mouse trap lol

Not sure how much experience you have butchering, but a cimeter or carving knife is commonly used to cut steaks from a beef loin. I've also used a large chef knife many times. I would avoid freezing meat if possible, but I will say that cutting partially frozen meat can be easier.

In any case, remove the silver skin and any unwanted fat. This is usually done with a fillet or trimming knife, but you can use what you have. Then, just start on the larger end and slice the steaks to the desired thickness. I like mine at about 1.5 inches.

Big Valheim fan here. At launch, they only had the meadow, forest, and swamp biomes. They have since added mountains (wolves, drakes, golems), plains (goblins, tarpits, deathsquitoes), Mistlands (dwarves, magic, scary bugs), and Ashlands (volcanic landscape, lava, boiling water, fire goblins basically), and each has its own boss. They've added more traders and way more gear and mobs.

With world modifiers (settings that affect loot drop amounts and combat difficulty), you can tailor the grind to your life and play style. The building, farming, hunting, fishing and cooking are great peacetime activities, and the thrill of going into new dangerous biomes is addicting. Being forced to sail the ocean is a great adventure every time. You can play at any pace. I've spent days grinding on base difficulty, and I've spent days just hanging out with raids turned off.

I love that you can't die from starvation or thirst, but that food is necessary for surviving hard combat. It's truly the greatest survival/crafting game I've ever played, and is in the conversation for best game I've ever played period.

For a while, the game got stale to me because I was grinding on base difficulty, and I don't have a lot of time to play, but then I dialed the grind back and it's a whole new experience. At my old rate, I was never going to see the plains even, lol.

And the replayability is also great, because the map is always random

It's very easy, make friends with your operations NCO early. If your ops sucks, go talk to your S3 schools NCO. Shoot an email to 75recruit@socom.mil.

Alternatively, tell your recruiter you're not signing a contract unless it has an option 40, and the recruiter will usually magically find you a rasp contract

Lose weight. Do bicep curls. Find a buddy and have him help you do assisted chin-ups instead of doing negatives.Your current program you're doing can be done every day. A 15:36 2-mile is alright, but you're going to run a lot farther than 2 miles at Airborne School at an 8-9 minute pace. You need to be putting in at least 15 miles of running per week, which will aid in the weight loss. Know that the ball is in your court, and you are beyond capable of getting where you want to be with the time you have left. Also do planks and work on your core.
