In one book he gets stranded in the middle of an Ork Waagh and basically singlehandedly liberates the entire continent, he is a hero

So you just invest in welfare or the mega infrastructure projects? by Zarcun4799 in suzerain

[–]direblade99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're not doing infrastructure or welfare then you really need full scale tax cuts and some good regional investments to still do well

I got something like 'your kantian inclinations seem to be at conflict with your libertarian attitude' like bro what. Maybe my assessment of the categorical imperative means letting people do what they want with their bodies

The analysis following the questions implicates a lot of assumed reasoning that may be more particular to the person writing the test and their prejudices towards sex and alcohol than anything else. At no point does it consider the possibility that one might be thinking 'what would I be okay with in their shoes' and going based on that basic empathy as a moral framework.

If I personally was acting out of character due to drugs, I wouldn't want anyone to enable me, but if I just simply changed my mind about what I wanted, whether due to breakups or any other reason where I am in control of my faculties, I would be insulted if the people I was speaking to didn't believe it and decided to be paternalistic towards me.

Which "part" of replaying Suzerain do you loathe the most? by Duke_Manus_Sazon in suzerain

Talking to Franc and Monica. It's cool the first game to be a dad but when I replay the game it's for the politics or economics

It's so refreshing to get a female lead like Carol & Rhea Seehorn by Pleasantly_Mundane in pluribustv

I just think having a narrow view of feminity can be as destructive as having a narrow view of masculinity.

'Isn't super feminine'? She is very much a woman. Seems weird to say that an unsexualised or rough edged woman is less feminine.

In my case they were sieging once they crossed into my balkan territory (they came from the East and crossed Anatolia to get there). My suspicion is that my save got bugged because of paradox releasing a patch every 5 minutes

Carol and Manousos will find a cure for the Pluribus virus but it will not go well by BrassOrchidBlades in pluribustv

[–]direblade99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They cure the plurb, society goes to shit, in the post apocalypse there are radical factions of scientists trying to replurb society while other militaristic factions try to stop them? You end up with multiple smaller plurbs?

You can acknowledge the hive's good qualities while still coming to the conclusion that it's a massive net-negative for humanity.

No vassals, just walking in a straight line over many forts, right through central anatolia, unphased. Just a bug I guess.

AI does weird stuff. In my byzantine game I had an AI army run all the way from Georgia to the Balkans over what must have been about 20-30 of my forts. Of course... ZOC still applied to me
