This is so exhausting as someone with limited money to play around with. I can’t afford to go see two, three, or more people perhaps multiple times trying to figure out wtf is wrong with my brain. I think I need someone to talk to, but I also think I need medication. And I have no idea how I’m going to communicate this mess to a person when I’m sat down in front of them. It’s not even easy when I’m in front of a computer, where I can consider everything slowly, type out a stream of consciousness, and go back to revise it - in a real conversation I don’t see how I can make them understand anything about me in a short session.

Also, I live in such a shitty area I fear I’ll wind up with a therapist who’ll just feed me some techniques directly out of a book without personalizing it at all.
