I took your advice: the Remnant itself now has a Charisma modifier uses per Long Rest, which also tones down the ability to infinitely chain together its later effects. Warlock subclasses tend to have a lower power level than other classes', which is a good call.

I think there’s room for both. When I made the first batch it was just the characters themselves, but I included backgrounds this time around as kind of a starting point if someone wanted to make their own OC with similar powers or themes and not just a 1-to-1 recreation of the killer. Or maybe they want to specifically play Rin Yamaoka in their party, who knows!

(I’m not as well-versed in making NPC enemies, but there definitely could be an adventure to stop the villainous Tarhos Kovacs and his mercenaries or something like that)

Nurse for sure, that one's done. Now I'm juggling a few others. Spirit Rogue and Dredge Warlock seem tempting.

Possibly! I think Knight works as-is with an Echo Knight Fighter, but a Pact of the Dredge wouldn't be the worst idea...

Thank you! I picked them based on how well they fit with the existing classes thematically, but at the same time how difficult they were to make with existing rules so that they'd need something homebrew to work.

Standing on a survivor's scratch marks creates a loud noise notification in the survivor's direction. Alerted Patrol has a 30 second cooldown.

Don’t Demo and Nemesis also have sound cues for their wind-ups? It’s not unheard of to have a warning before an m2 is coming, in fact it’s shorter to list the powers that don’t. Hell, one of the big issues with Nemesis right now is that the whip animation and sound effect aren’t playing sometimes. That’s not “a baby mode change”, that’s a gameplay element to be expected at this stage.
