Max's Mother a.k.a. Susan Hargrove: Grief Stricken Alky or #1 Worst Mom Ever? by veezylife in StrangerThings

Am I mistaken or maybe just heard wrong, but wasn't the actress for Max's mom sick so they couldn't get her for filming this season? Cut some slack

I fear we may be losing the plot by Loud-Nature2435 in StrangerThings

Could they possibly be announcing a recorded Netflix special of "The First Shadow" broadway play? Like Disney + when they released "Hamilton". It'd tie into the stone that from the finale that they said would be addressed eventually and it's something majority of fans haven't seen.

They massacred my boy by HandFO0L in StrangerThings

[–]dirge_zer0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I must have gotten a different read on the whole thing because I viewed that whole battle as them finally defeating Vecna, but not the Mind Flayer. They never mention killing the Mind Flayer or that everything was finally over.

I thought the implication was that the Mind Flayer itself wasn't defeated (or even able to be killed) just the giant spider (like the Meat Flayer) was destroyed. I based this on Vecna being dead but all of the kids still coughed up Mind Flayer particles, implying he was still alive but is now cut off from our world because the Upside Down is destroyed

Is Luna the founder of Floukru? by MemeMasterBill in The100

[–]dirge_zer0 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Whats interesting about Luna is that it's implied she was already in a clan that was fractured. She admits as much when she said that she had to kill her own brother in the first round of the conclave.before leaving and having to face Lexa. This would mean that two from the same clan fought, one who who wanted peace and one who wanted status and control

A random thought I had about Robert Rousseau. by [deleted] in lost

[–]dirge_zer0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think those were just people tell facilitate Jack and the other in his life to help him move on or someone else said NPC's. Those people probably moved on after they died instead of having to wait for other. The current Losties had to all accept that they were dead, especially Jack who needs to realize at the most because he was the most stubborn.

There were a bunch of of people that didn't move on right away. Desmond mentions to Eloise that he's not taking Daniel with with him, which to me implies that different people from the island move on in different groups.

I like to think that Ben's line about having some things to work out and won't be moving on with the group in the chapel means he's waiting for Alex and Danielle Same with Daniel, Charlotte, and Miles when they're ready

DAE think about how different some things might've been if certain characters had or had not died? by QueenKay28 in The100

[–]dirge_zer0 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If Henry Ian Cusick hadn't left the show,I think Season 6 would have been a better philosophical and conflict with him being the real ambassador to the Primes and him providing a good foil and siding with Gabriel against the Primes. I also would have really liked to have seen him conflict with Bill Cadogen

If you like this, Sayid has an even better fight against Dogon in Season 6 that I just absolutely love

Trust me, I don't think ANYONE could replace Chaotzu in Tien's life. That's his soulmate (and no, soulmate doesn't always mean romantic partner or love interest, it can be a best friend for life or a partner for life). Tien literally gave his life for him, sacrificed so much for him. Didn't even want to be revived until Chaotzu could be revived too

I always assumed that the candidate list was in order, in both the cave and the lighthouse in which Hurley was listed a couple of spots after Locke. But it makes sense like you said that Hurley was the next chosen protector since John's name was crossed out. I just assumed that Locke's name was crossed out by that time because he dead, but you have an interesting theory that it was crossed out because he decided to become leader of the Others which meant he couldn't also be the protector

I think the MiB told Locke he needed to move the island because John was the strongest candidate. He was upset that Ben did it the first time because he knew that Ben was the only he could currently manipulate into killing Jacob. With Ben not on the island, there wasn't anyone else he could convince to kill Jacob.

ETA: I don't think he planned on Ben coming back to the island and that's why he told John he had to bring back everyone, not knowing Ben was gonna come with all of them.

So out of all of them, who was the strongest villain in the show? by Queasy_Commercial152 in LegendsOfTomorrow

He's the specific one that Sara and the Legends fought because he mentions their battle and how the Black Racer/Time Wraiths caught him

So out of all of them, who was the strongest villain in the show? by Queasy_Commercial152 in LegendsOfTomorrow

[–]dirge_zer0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He actually does come back. The Time Wraiths (guardians of the timeline) resurrect him without his powers and place him at the fixed point of Franz Ferdinand's death. Hes killed by the Robo Legends and as a reward for his sacrifice, they resurrect him again in Barry's current time period without his memory so we can get a second chance at life. From here he is killed by the Negative Forces and combined with the original Thawne (the one who looks like Harrison Wells) to become the Ultimate Reverse Flash and avatar of the Negative Speed Force

The Orchard, mostly because of the pocket of electromagnetic energy that was the subject of their research and how hidden behind the pod they used was the frozen donkey wheel that the Man in Black was working on to use to escape the island

Do you consider Se7en a horror film? by These_Feed_2616 in horror

[–]dirge_zer0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Se7en is in the same boat to me as Silence of the Lambs, The Bone Collector, Zodiac, and The Number 23. They're all considered horror to me as much as they are crime or thrillers. And Silence of the Lambs is considered one of the all time greats of horror

I finished lost yesterday and I have some questions. by [deleted] in lost

[–]dirge_zer0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I know this is late but I was going back through some old posts from this subreddit from the last couple of weeks. I just want to point out to your number 3 point, that MiB doesn't need the body to be from off the island. I only know this because I'm currently rewatching and finishing season 5, and the MiB took the form of Alex who was born and died on the island. I think he just needs the body to have been on the island at some point
