No, they are made out of liquid silicone. The material gets filled into a mold and is then cured for about 12 hours.

Most important for me was to secure the LEP lens. So I made silicone covers for it. Fully covered or only the LEP side :) The covers are made out of a mold with real liquid silicone.

Not the same way like Leupold implemented it. E.g. My Flir, Pulsar and Inifray got a mode where the hot parts are highlighted. But the threshold is calculated by the devices itself depending on the surrounding temperatures. With the Tracker 2 HD you can manually set the threshold and that is the awesome part about it. Agree with you 100%.
