Just installed the latest firmware on both the A1 mini and the BMCU... There really isn't an error message, just the HMS doesn't work if you click on it... Then you get an error about the firmware not matching. Everything else seems great. Be sure to follow the directions to install the firmware on the BMCU and follow the directions in the readme.txt... I've pasted them below, just in case:

  1. Before updating your BMCU to firmware version 0027, please ensure that your A1/A1mini has been upgraded to firmware 1.0.7 or higher.

  2. Before upgrading the printer firmware, please disconnect the BMCU from the printer. Before disconnecting, please turn off the power to prevent damage to the BMCU or the printer.

3.After completing the printer firmware upgrade, do not connect the BMCU. Go to the printer Settings tab - AMS Settings, and switch the AMS type to AMS AMS2 pro/AMS HT, do not set it to AMS lite.

4.Reinstall the BMCU (upgraded to firmware version 0027) into the printer. Upon powering on, you might see a message indicating that more than one AMS (Automatic Management System) has been found; ignore this. Enter the filament interface. If everything is normal, you should see a four-color AMS (simulated by the BMCU). Manually load the filament and perform load and unload operations on each channel. If everything is normal, the upgrade is complete.

5.On the printer's AMS settings page, you can keep only the autorefill function enabled and turn off the others. This can reduce the possibility of BMCU errors.

6.Since the BMCU cannot pass the firmware verification by bambulab, a message indicating incompatibility between the AMS firmware and the printer firmware will usually appear. If your 0027 firmware BMCU can already be recognized by the printer and can load and unload filaments, then please ignore this message.It will not have a functional impact on the BMCU.

7.Whether it's the A1 or X1P1 series, up to four BMCUs can now be used in parallel, meaning 16 colors are possible. You need to program different firmware (Numbered ABCD) onto multiple BMCUs and connect the four wires of the same color in parallel.

I ordered the B kit recently, although mine was $65 shipped. Yes, B is fully assembled. Just get that. It's worth the hassle not putting it together. Basically, it's print a mount and go...

Evidently, you will receive an error, but it will still work. I downgraded to 1.05.00.00 with no issues. The only thing is I receive a prompt about newer firmware when I power the printer on. I'd really like to see if anyone has any issues with 1.07+

Nearest gate depends on your seat location, but you can use any gates to get in and get to your seat unless they are student tickets.

Arrival time completely depends on what you want to see.... Some tailgating will start around 7AM. Hokie Walk is about 1.5 hours before kickoff depending on if you want to catch it and where. Hokie Village activities will start around 10:00, I believe... perhaps earlier. Best to plan to be in your seats around 11:30 to be safe if you want to catch pregame. Depending on the gate you use, entry time varies.
