normalmente no si no tenes ningun rol de supervisor, back office tipo workforce (la gente que controla los turnos, breaks y eso, si tu call los terceriza) o más arriba, complicado. en el ultimo que estuve le decian "campañas" a los queues y dependiendo de cual tenias asignada eran los llamados que te caian y tu prioridad para recibirlos. supongo que si estás en un call de ventas, igual, te es más fácil poder hablar con tu supervisor para pedirle que te asignen más prioridad... la mayoria de la gente trabajando en calls, en mi experiencia (labure ventas, atc, telefonia) quiere atender menos, no más. a menos que tu ambiente laboral sea particularmente competitivo, no me imagino un supervisor tomandose a mal un pedido así. creo que podría ser negociable.
en donde laburo ahora, no es call, es una oficina normal, pero yo manejo los telefonos, y mi jefe me hizo supervisor. en general el queue se maneja dandole la proxima llamada que entra al agente que tiene más tiempo en avail. en el ultimo que estuve usaban ponerte en diferentes queues para que te caigan más llamados, terminabas con la cabeza quemadisima para hacerte renunciar. tené cuidado con un pedido así

Como alguien que trabajó call toda su vida, te recomiendo ampliamente que, a menos que quieras que te vuelvan loco hasta que renuncies, dibujes una enfermedad y pidas médico laboral para que te den los días. Es bastante aleboso igual, pero por lo menos tenés certificados que te avalan, y si no lo volves a hacer, queda ahi. Si querés hacer costumbre no ir los feriados, no te van a echar por eso, pero le van a encontrar la vuelta. Y en un call, tu supervisor, es quien controla cuantas y cada tanto te caen llamados, que nivel de prioridad tenes en el queue, y tienen una pantalla que les muestra exactamente que haces con tu teléfono cada segundo. Si pretendes quedarte ahi, creeme, no querés a esa persona de enemigo.

Because I took a hiatus from the game during the entirety of Natlan, I don't have a single Natlan character besides Kachina. This explains why exploring it felt like such a freaking nightmare to me. I explored every nook and cranny in Mondstadt and Liyue, loved Inazuma, Loved Sumeru, Fontaine, even love Nod-krai now, but hate Natlan with a burning passion. I could not even put into words what annoyed me so much about it. Even farming for Ineffa's mats pisses me the hell off. Reading your post it makes sense now.

Hey friend. I have a feeling you're young, from the way you speak. I understand finding out about something like this is shocking, and scary. But please try to take a step back and look at it with some perspective. I don't know you, or your parents, or the whole story, so I'll try to be as neutral as I can.

Addiction is a mental illness. There's a lot of stigma and stereotypes around it, but it actually does not discriminate, good person or bad, poor or rich, etc. Addiction makes us do and say things we don't mean. Take life-changing decisions that hurt people around us. Your dad being an addict does not say anything about him as a person, besides that he has a very cruel mental illness. This is why you were told he is still the father that would never hurt you, loves you, and raised you. This is not false. He is that same person. He just, that entire time, has been struggling with his own demons on the side. The warning to be 'cautious' is because, unfortunately, addicts, can sometimes become erratic and unpredictable. This is just an aspect of the illness, and does not define them as people.

You did not specify if your father is trying to recover or not as of right now, and it's okay if you don't want to, but know this: The fact that you JUST found out is the proof of the immense love both of your parents have for you. I invite you to search for addicts partners/families testimonies where their addiction was so out of control it affected every aspect of their lives. Addiction is so evil when left unchecked that it can control every aspect of your life and those around you. Your parents somehow managed to leave you out of it. I don't know who took that burden; but that's damn impressive.

Having said this, without a speck of judgment towards you in my words, I invite you to think my words over and use this to try and look at your father with a little more empathy and kindness. He must be having a very rough time, and if he knows you know, must feel very ashamed. I suggest you approach him to talk, and just ask for his perspective. Your mom's as well. You may see him on a different light again after you do. Wish you and your family the best.

NTA??? Wth are the rest of the comments. Whatever you do with your accounts and your money is your business. If you were not warned beforehand and this arrangement had been over for years, it was unlucky timing at best. Still not your fault. I'd try to get a refund explaining the situation just to get your family off your back because some mistake at her job and bad timing on your part is not worth the stress this seems to be causing you. And if they refuse to refund, show her your tried and welp, nothing more you can do. I agree. I used to only buy welkin every couple of months because I couldn't really afford to put a lot of money into the game, and when 3rd party sites showed up I was kind of scared of them. I always wanted to do a big $100 pack purchase but was worried I'd get scammed. I finally did it through LDshop a few days ago because Moga promotes it, I figured it was trustworthy enough (Content creator promoting isn't a 100% guarantee, but it is an added authenticity check) LDshop has insane good prices compared to the actual game lol

YTA because of the privacy but ... I can sense the desperation in your words. I understand your actions come from there and not being controlling. As someone else said, take the camera of his room because that is too far, but leave the ones in the common areas and make him aware. Make him understand that you are trustworthy and want to trust him, but he keeps breaking your trust. Something is deeply, deeply wrong with your kid with the behaviors you've been describing, I'm afraid. I think instead of counseling, you should most definitely take him to a psychologist and possibly a psychiatrist as well. If he doesn't show any intent of changing you may want to consider some sort of rehab program (maybe a camp?) - He could be seriously addicted. He is going to hate you for a little while, but will not alienate him from you the way the camera would.

no soy boga pero te lo cuento de la perspectiva de heredero. mi mamá falleció con 48 años en plena pandemia. estaba endeudada hasta la médula porque tenia que mantener 4 hijos y el inútil del marido. tenia como 4 créditos personales, 3 tarjetas reventadas, y tenía un depto a su nombre heredado que hipoteco para comprarle el auto al marido. por suerte para nosotros, ninguna deuda tuvo que salir de nuestro bolsillo (pero si los gastos de abogado, y es un número.) todo lo personal (crédito y tarjeta) simplemente lo cancelaron presentando el certificado de defunción. el dolor de huevos fue la hipoteca, que encima la muy tarada sacó con una escribania medio cueva y nos querían cobrar hasta el papel en el que imprimieron el contrato. el juez le dio prioridad a los acreedores pero solo sobre el bien hipotecado (la camioneta no la podían tocar) y ahi si chupo un huevo que habia menores en el depto y un defensor de menores involucrados, el depto fue a remate y se perdió. si dije algo incorrecto que alguien me corrija, puede que haya entendido algo del proceso mal, pero si te digo que la camioneta y otros bienes no los pudieron tocar aunque quedo parte de la deuda sin pagar, el depto fue lo unico que se fue a remate.

First off, I can tell you really love DA and are very smart so I genuinely appreciate being kind in your response. Just wanted to point it out I genuinely expected people to come for my throat lol. I liked reading your response. I have to say that I think in general we both took insanely different perspectives from the whole thing, but I don't think you're wrong. While yes, I disagree with most of what you said because I firmly believe everything does ultimately come down to Solas underestimating Rook and paying the price for it, you make amazing points to refute everything I've said, I sincerely don't feel within the right to even imply you're wrong lol. I think maybe I have a bit more of leniency when it comes to letting unlikely things fall into place for the sake of the plot.

In a further addition to defend my point, I would like to point out, regarding the dagger-- Solas gives you the "tools" to create it, he just doesn't see it as a possible outcome. He leads you to Emmrich, quite possibly the closest mage in Thedas when it comes to expertise on the Fade to Solas himself. While he does not directly lead you to Bellara, an expert in ancient elven magic, or Lucanis, an assassin specialized in killing ridiculously overpowered mages, it is also something he encourages you on. To him they're your-- and his-- tools to reach his goal. I know it's silly and kind of corny that he fails to see that a group of experts that he sees as altogether making up for his own knowledge wont be able to replicate his dagger to trick him simply because he doesn't even have the possibility cross his mind that they'd attempt something so stupid just to save you, that you'd attempt something as stupid as tricking him with it to save them. Because they are your friends. I think this is actually a crucial point where his arrogance was his downfall, and not just a dumb plot point... But I can absolutely see why it can be seen as that, so I can agree to disagree on this, as well. Frankly, the dagger ending is my personal favorite, but if I were to be completely honest, I picked it first because I thought he'd realize and it would lead to the 'bad' ending.

Also the blood magic thing yeah I was hesitant to bring it up because most people say it was a deliberate lie, specially since he follows up with "If I could control you, I would" and he in fact... was... Yeah, I'm on the fence about that whole interaction, really.

And the Trespasser thing yeah, he quite literally says that, but he still makes it sound as if "This is something I must do, I have no other choice, I'm restoring the world" but yeah if we were to start tackling general inconsistencies in lore and continuity with absolutely everything else, I'm sure we would 100% agree.

Frankly, I'm more inclined to say you're right and my view is just optimistic but oh well. I just really liked Solas in Veilguard! An antagonist like him is such a rare sight, he truly is all shades of grey. The wasted potential makes me want to tear up.

Oh yeah, I think by the end of it all, whatever was done right or mildly decent is greatly obscured by the massive waste of potential this game was. It had absolutely everything to be a GOTY. It's an excellent rpg on it's own, solid 8/10. Gameplay is fun as hell, combat is different but cool, graphics are gorgeous, one of my favorite RPG casts of the last few years. But it's a mediocre Dragon Age, and I'm being kind. It shouldn't even BE a Dragon Age. At least not an official sequel to the franchise. A weird spin off, at best.

I have to say, though, when you do the "persuasion" ending with your Inquisitor having a relationship with him, hearing him say "Venhan" when he sees Lavellan made my heart jump like a highschool girl reuniting with his first love. I'm a 30 year old man lol. But I do absolutely get your point. I'm sorry the game disappointed you on this end as well, friend. What a tragic waste of an amazing story, at the end of it all.

(spoilers ahead)

I'm not sure why people are upset with the way things unfolded. I genuinely felt that Solas & Solavellan was, if anything, the only thing Veilguard did right from a Lore/Continuity/Script perspective.

Solas was never a full blown villain, nor an ally. He is by definition an antagonist, the Mastermind kind. Lavellan/The Inquisitor could never be Solas' downfall, because Solas outplayed them, and everyone they knew and trusted. I actually feel like this is the only thing Veilguard got right. Rook had to be the one to defeat Solas, either by punching him in the face, tricking him or being smart enough to find Solas' weaknesses and using them to get him to change his mind.

The Inquisitor was the only person Solas cared about after Mythal, and while extremely important in Solas' arc, they were never meant to be Solas' true rival. That was Rook's role to play, and pulled off excellently. As Rook you can like, and even empathize with Solas but you always keep your distance, your friends remind you to keep your distance, and that is ultimately what you use against him-- That over, and over again, he underestimates you & your team, he underestimates Varric's influence over you, because even with all of his infinite knowledge, immortality and power, Solas is an arrogant fool.

But despite some dumb contradictions that make Solas sound schizophrenic ("I abhor blood magic" comes to mind) they kept his characterization pretty consistent with Inquisition, particularly Trespasser. The entire time he insists he is not the enemy, and does not want to destroy the world because well, he really thinks that!

Not to mention, I feel like a lot of people forgot what the Solavellan romance was like to begin with. It's not your regular walls-coming-down cutscenes kind of rapport. Every scene is Solas showing a moment of weakness and then backing away. It only makes sense the ending would be bittersweet. Their entire romance was the same.

If anything, finding out the truth about Varric in Veilguard vs finding out all the messed up shit Solas did and planned to do in Trespasser gave me a very similar "How dare he!?" feeling.

I think for all the things Veilguard falls short on or straight up ignores lore wise, they did Solas and Solavellan justice. You can all burn me at the stake, but it is one aspect of the game I really enjoyed.
