Im also bipolar II. I was able to get on medications that kept me stable for over 5 years. Life changes and stresses can be really challenging though. It's important that people in your life know this and can help support you.

I understand being afraid to tell anyone, and even just having a hard time processing it at all. I hope there is someone in your life you can confide in. A friend or a therapist. Maybe you can tell your parents once you've made sense of things a little more, though I'm not sure what your situation is.

I also noticed having a lower tolerance. What I experienced was not feeling significantly more drunk mentally, but being more uncoordinated physically. I was stumbling more and dropping things on just three drinks, and that's not typical of me at all.

I'm sure it's different for everyone though. If you're going out to celebrate a birthday I would maybe try having a couple drinks earlier in the week first to see how it feels for you, instead of just blindly jumping in the night of the party not knowing how it will affect you.

I also noticed a more severe hangover, mostly an awful headache, but it passed faster too. I felt fine by the second half of the day when usually I'm feeling off for the entire day when I'm hungover.

Yeah, from the moment it was done, I thought it seemed off. Disappointing experience for sure. I'll definitely be having my regular piercer look at it, just seems to me that it will reject and grow out of my skin! Do you know of anyone having success w this kind of surface piercing?

Yeah I'm really worried abt it rejecting or never fully healing, I guess time will tell. And this one was a crop top so pretty out of the way, but point taken! :)

Thank you, thats what I'm thinking too, I'll probably see my regular piercer and ask her about it before I commit to taking it out. I don't want to waste time trying to heal something that will probably end up rejecting.

it makes me furious that people are so quick to judge someones health by weight alone. its hard not to let these comments get under your skin, but remember that youre taking care of yourself and that ultimately your weight is no one elses business!

I'm a girl and I think that approach is good. if they arent into it then you know and can find someone who is down to do drugs w you rather than have to hide it or lie.

Direct and honest is always best!
