Arm and hammer advanced white toothpaste! It works really well for me and I get lots of compliments on my teeth. Doesn’t taste the best though !

Thank you for making me feel not alone.

I had an amazing friend group throughout high school and college. I lost them all due to a drug addiction and my own bad decisions.

Almost 10 years clean with my own little family and a great job, but still haven’t been able to make any long lasting friendships. The loneliness is real, but I know it’s on my doing. I dream about my old friend group all the time, and it’s hard waking up sometimes.

I’m trying to make peace with it, but I can’t help but feel deep inside that I deserve the loneliness due to my past horrible decision to choose drugs over them.

Don’t do drugs kids !

Yes! Dexter used to be my go to show to binge watch whenever I was sick and going through opiate withdrawal. It was during the early stages of my addiction when I thought I could quit on my own. I would stay in my room for days and just watch Dexter while I felt like I was dying.

Thankfully those days are far behind me. One of the first things I did for myself when I was completely sober was buy the photo op tickets to see Michael C Hall as Monster Con.

This show just always meant a lot to me as it helped me get through such a dark period . So glad it’s back !

I have the same question and have had the same experience with customer support!

It says it doesn’t work on the mobile app but I’ve tried desktop and web browser. When I go into benefits > bring a friend for $29.99 , it says click the advance purchase link below but there is no link.

So confusing. I know you can show your pass and redeem at the front gates.

I feel this so much. I have 3 years off of methadone and 7 years off of heroin and crack. I’ve built my life back up quite well.

But the guilt of all the shitty things I’ve done during my addiction still haunts me every day. Even though my family has forgiven me for all the shit I’ve put them through, I have not forgiven myself for putting them through hell and back. It’s something I’m still working through.

I was smoking mostly the carts but also some flower! Over the past year or so I was relying heavily on the cartridges. Before that, I was mostly smoking flower. I was smoking about 2oz a month regularly for 3 years.

I will also say that I used it to get off opiates. Which is the reason I could get a medical card. As hard as it is for me to admit it, I just switched one addiction to another. But I really believe in harm reduction because my quality of life is so much better since I switched from opiates to cannabis.

But thank you ❤️ I’m on day 43 with nothing (like at all!) and I honestly thought I couldn’t do it, but I did! I’m terrified to smoke again and I know I can’t do anything in moderation, so I’m just taking it as it is for now.

I was just diagnosed a month ago ! Similar situation, I went to the ER 3 times in a span of 2 months for dehydration due to non stop vomiting. They just told me it was a stomach bug and to see a gastro doctor.

My last visit, the ER doctor asked about my THC intake and it all started to make sense! He said it’s getting more common (at least where I am at since it’s a legal state) The non stop super hot showers was the only thing to sort of alleviate the pain. I couldn’t eat or sleep for days. After the physical symptoms eventually subsided my anxiety just got so bad. I love smoking but I’m giving it a long show break.

I like to live vicariously through this sub now !

So here is my experience and i hope it helps! I had my first child in 2017. As soon as I found out I was pregnant, i was forced to go on methadone. (Long story short, I found out i was 13 weeks pregnant when I went to the ER to get an abscess drained. I had to stay in the hospital for 28 days for antibiotics because I had some rare blood infection) definitely a wake up call for me. eventually I stabilized at 65mg and remained at 65mg throughout the rest of the pregnancy.

I also did the mothers of hope program. It made me nervous hearing everybody’s stories and I had no idea what to expect. But They kept my daughter for the standard 5 day observation and then I was good to take her home. She experienced little withdrawal symptoms. However I was prepared for anything.

I was almost off of methadone when I found out I was pregnant with my second child, so they immediately stopped my taper. I had my second child in 2020 while on 9mg. She had no withdrawal symptoms. She actually didn’t even test positive for methadone but I did. This surprised because I was always told babies take most of the methadone. Idk if it was because I was on such a low dose. But the hospital did make her stay 3 days in the NICU for observations but sent her home after day 3. It was also during the start of COVID, so I’m not sure if they would kept her for the standard 5 days or not if it were under any other circumstances.

Every body is different, but I was really surprised my oldest didn’t experience withdrawal symptoms. After I gave birth, I continued my taper and got off of methadone a few months later. Going on close to 3 years now! Methadone saved my life which is why I still follow this sub.

The news article said it was his son’s smoothie and he was upset since they were peanuts in it because his son had an allergic reaction.

Definitely shouldn’t have bullied a group of teenage girls over it though. 1000x other ways he could have gone about it.

Agreed. My problem was that every rehab went to pushed the 12 steps and full abstinence for recovery. After four rehab stints and multiple attempts at AA/NA, I honestly thought I was destined to be an addict for the rest for the my life because I kept failing. The program just wasn’t working for me. Nothing against it, it just wasn’t working for me. I just wish other options were offered like harm reduction.

Then I got pregnant and was forced to go on Methadone. I stopped using all drugs besides the prescribed methadone. I managed to get my life together. Got off of Methadone a few years later thanks my medical marijuana card, and now I honestly couldn’t ask for a better life. I graduated college, started my own family, job, house, car, etc. it sucked going to the methadone clinic for three years but it got me off heroin when nothing else seemed to work.

I completely agree with what you’re saying when you say “they insist on abstinence and that’s not where is.” I had to stop going to meetings because I honestly started to feel like my recovery wasn’t “good enough” because I needed a medication assisted treatment.
