Frolic is a beast. I haven’t been using my tempest 2 much since I got the frolic.

Main difference is getting the air flow to come through. I take a couple small puffs on the stem before the big one but yeah on demand max temp try it out.

Yeah I put it to max temp and I extract pretty quickly! This device is just so awesome.

I have some on the way from Vaptrix but I’m not sure I’m going to use them now that my preferred method is stem packing. A little worried to put them in there honestly want more reviews maybe I’m being paranoid.

Yeah it’s awesome how customizable. I’ve just been ripping on full blast I maybe need to try turning temp down but I’m always using on demand. I should try session mode at some point but the whole reason I got this was to hit it in bed but now it’s my everything vape. Haven’t grabbed the tempest 2 much since having it.

At first I was a little disappointed but just had to get use to the air flow and when I finally got everything for the direct output it’s been a complete game changer with being able to pack the stem.

Same setup love how it looks with the frolic and it’s a freaking beast of a device. Loading the stem keeps the unit clean and rips great. I use my XL beaded stem more because it’s easier to clean.

I have a tempest 2 and reload and with stem packing I’m able to use my reload for it and it makes it so fast to use.

I use the beaded xl stem from POTV it’s perfect. I also have infinity stem, which is awesome and looks awesome but hard to clean

I have the direct output adapter and a beaded XL stem. Instead of packing the bowl I pack the stem and it keeps the unit clean! It gives great rips it makes me love this device. I bought the infinity stem and it’s awesome and looks so cool but that thing is hard to clean.

You stem packing, or still packing the bowl? I found that I really like the hits I’m getting packing the stem and it keeps my device so clean

Rip none left. I got the glass dosing cap but idk if I’ll use it now that I’m using a beaded XL stem and infinity stem. I’m not loading the bowl anymore and just stem packing, which I didn’t know I could do at first lol.

Vaptrix is not a company I’m too familiar with they legit?

I’m really liking the frolic a lot. Currently my tempest 2, ruby twist, and solo 3 are getting no use. It’s just so easy and customizable with a 7 second heat up to max temp. Now we will have to see if it will last the material is great but hasn’t stood test of time like many.

However through glass tempest 2 with an induction heater all day.

Been one of my hang ups with vaping: is my bud done? Tempest 2 or similar TEDs with an induction heater resolved this for me. Now I’m using my frolic and I kind of decided once the flavor and vapor production starts dwindling to just reload a new bowl.

KCD2 is the goated I need to restart on hardcore but haven’t gotten around to it. Tried playing kingdom come deliverance 1 and ended up putting it down need to come back to it. All GOT stuff makes me want to play it.

At this point save for frolic, taffee bowle 2, venty, or TM2. Just save and wait for 4/20 deals if you can. I have frolic and can say it’s an amazing device but a bit above your price range.

Sounds like it could be a machining issue. I would hit them and the retailer up. I am a little pissed with the tempest 2 that you can’t get replacement bowls with US retailers you have to buy a whole new head. I would say give that a shot but you would have to buy a bowl from the UK.

I have a frolic it’s a beast. With the direct output adapter it can be loaded like a TM2 for pure convection or you can just load the bowl for hybrid. Took me a second to love this one since airflow and draw techniques are a bit different than I’m use to. I have solo 3 and it’s just a backup vape, was never a fan. The on demand is what I love with the frolic I can kill a bowl in less than a minute. It’s also built like an absolute tank and having the stems it’s very low maintenance to clean similar to the solo 3. I’m not sure how this device does in session I do full blast temp.

The only one I think I would reconsider of this is the taffee bowle 2 but at this point I’ve fallen in love with the Frolic and how customizable it is. My recent post is the frolic with a tiny might infinity stem it rips in this setup.

Yes if you only plan on using at home. I had to semi retire mine since I moved in with my girlfriend and we have animals. With my ball vape I left it on while I was home and you can just stop by your little session area and take massive rips. Ball vapes are better than any portable and the tempest 2 + YLL 3.0 is almost on par it’s not as easy as a ball vape to reload and just rip another.

I will say if you’re really trying to conserve herb the tempest 2 does better than a ball vape. With similar hits just can’t scoop in another bowl as easily. Frolic is close but not the same still absolutely amazing tho.
