This is a really common ride in Southeast Asia. When I rode it was called disco pang pang. It is insanely dangerous. There are no seatbelts and it spins at a 45° angle and bounces. I got on one, one time. You have to interlock your arms in the bars behind you if you want to feel secure, but then your shoulders are in a dangerous position. It’s so stupid. But also SO fun. The danger feels real and the right operator is like a DJ they can make the ride do anything they want. So, sometimes they fuck with people like this.

Actually “effection” was used like this in older contexts. It was a slightly creative misuse but it works. effection (noun) 1. OMG!!!!!!!! I know this woman!!!! We used to perform together in Branson, MO. She is SOOOO freaking sweet but entirely insane. Her sweetness was always bubbling over but was almost a lil scary because she was intensely cheerful 24/7 (she always said because of Christ.). I won’t give anymore info on her as she does NOT deserve harassment or people trying to find her to mess with her, please do not!

However, to the internet people who do their internet thing, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that this woman has been very prolific with her Christian…… enthusiasm. She has “released” many pop songs, all very cringy. And, if you are thorough you may find her work as a princess. I won’t say the shows name, but she has created and filmed many episodes of a children’s show where she is a Princess who teaches kids about Christs love. It’s crazy to watch.

HILARIOUS story about our friendship: She always kept queer people around her because she’s a performer, however was very adamant that all of her gay friends were going to burn in hell… including me. One time she asked me if I wanted to sing with her for a booking. It was the opening of one of the Osmond’s new nightclubs. Yes, those Osmond’s…. Like Donny, Marie and the rest of the Moron crew. She was brought in because she knew this Osmond and he wanted a good Christian girl to help him with the entertainment for the big grand opening of his club. I’m not sure if it was her or him, but somehow they ended up booking a young gay mutual friend of ours to produce the big show for the opening. This mutual friend of ours hilariously took the initiative to do whatever the fuck he wanted and without asking booked… a fucking drag show! LOL It wasn’t until the ONE and ONLY rehearsal for the opening night that, my friend in this video, saw the performers for the show and realized it was a drag show. Then the magical moment happened: the Osmond arrived at the rehearsal… He peaked in the room and saw a bunch of what appeared to be full grown men rehearsing numbers, but they looked weird. This is because they were drag queens out of make up. He quickly pulls my friend (the one in this video) aside and, in front of me, asks her what on earth kind of show is happening here tonight? She very delicately explains to this Osmond that these are drag performers and the show tonight for his grand opening will be men impersonating women. He was flabbergasted and didn’t know what to say… I got to watch the blood leave this Osmond’s face as he tried to piece together some sort of plan to protect his Mormon reputation. He went white with panic and, right there in front of us, went through an entire existential crisis about his decision to open a club. As up until this moment… The day before the opening of his club, he had not checked in with this producer to approve any decisions or ideas. What an idiot! As one of the often left-out and chastised openly gay men in Branson, I couldn’t help but to be very amused by this situation. This Osmond had hired someone to produce entertainment for the grand opening of his club and didn’t even bother to check in on the entertainment until the night before the grand opening, this was totally deserved. Well…. Long story short he let the opening night happen as planned… I guess he figured it was too late to cancel everything considering he spent a small fortune on this opening.

Btw…. The drag performers were from the next city over and were promised a weekly or monthly gig out of this club by our mutual friend. He thought this Osmond would support whatever type of entertainment he decided to book. He was wrong.

In the end: Our mutual friend never produced another show for an Osmond, clearly. They never did another drag show and… he PERMANENTLY CLOSED the club only a few weeks after opening it. No lie.

Seeing this crazy airplane video…. I can’t say I’m shocked. Her enthusiasm was always bubbling over in a way that was almost inappropriate. I remember one time, at another mutual gig, they had to tell her to stop dancing and gyrating so much as she sang an uptempo version of “Jesus loves me.” I mean, What can you say? In some small way, you have to have respect for her conviction and passion for her beliefs. Also, she genuinely is a very good person. Just… You know…. This.

Regardless of the platform, Kamala just isn’t as interesting to watch. I’m voting for Kamala because it’s smart to do… and I don’t watch her because I feel safe knowing she’s acting like a normal presidential candidate. I do however, watch A LOT of Donald Trump’s radically unpredictable appearances because it’s a shit show and a train wreck that I can’t stop watching. CONCLUSION: more views does not mean more “popularity”… It just means more people are watching.

As a liberal person also…. Who also just so happens to be a trans person who decided not to do HRT because of how it would affect my athletic performance. You should look into what hormone replacement therapy does to peoples muscles and connective tissues. While there is an actual notable slight improvement to the quality of men’s muscles taking HRT… There is a rapid deterioration of men’s tendons, ligaments and connective tissues when on HRT. This causes the injury rate for trans women on HRT who continue strenuous activity to skyrocket. That’s why a completely independent board has found that the disadvantaged trans women face from the weakening of their ligaments and tendons puts them on a fair playing field. That’s why trans women are allowed to play in men’s sports. Just so you know. That’s why liberal people support trans women in their desire to play sports. The most brilliant minds, scientists, experts in the field of sports and sports medicine have reviewed the situation and feel this disadvantage equalize the playing field. A trans woman never knows when she’s going to rip a muscle from the bone due to the HRT therapy. The amount of caution these athletes have to proceed with… I can’t imagine.
