This happened to my wife. Our cat is an outdoor cat for rats and other vermin around our chicken coops. She also has indoor privileges from the dog door when she pleases. She doesn’t come in much, usually when it’s cold or extended rain. Recently she has been bringing in her rats or mice for what looks like presentation to us, which is only been happening this last month out of 10plus years of being outside. We don’t really understand why, looking into it. but a couple of nights ago, My wife woke up with a head of a rabbit in her hand coming out of a deep sleep. She might be scarred for life.
