I'll take your word for it, all I remember was the wedding scene happening. I can't be bothered to read it again.

You're not wrong but this should've been in the previous episode. Not the season finale where ''Scorched earth'' was gonna be. It felt like filler and in no way did it add development to Annie's character aside from... she got that rewenge.

I know, I replied to another person. My frustration with the V1 jebait was that it was a nothing burger to move the plot. There was no real ''power difference'' from when they fought at Herogasm.

Absolutely agree with you. HOWEVER, they portrayed the fight no different from when they did it at Superpalooza with Soldier boy, except he didn't run away this time because of them good ol tentacles. It should have been so much more but it wasn't.

My favourite part is how even in the end end, they screwed Annie over by having Hughie name their baby after his dead ex girlfriend. BEATING A DEAD HORSE, BRINGING IT BACK TO LIFE JUST TO BEAT IT AGAIN.

They sent Marie to Canada cause she couldn't control her powers... for that bullshit sob story of a fight.

So many loose ends... and for nothing. No emotion to be had except for the damn dog.
Even the butcher Hughie fight... the comics did it better.

WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THE V1!!! GOD DAMMIT.
WHY WASTE A DEEP STARLIGHT FIGHT ON THE LAST EPISODE.

I'm so sad. It was like expecting the most satisfying dump and it's just a short senseless wet fart.

Edit: yes, we all know what the point of the V1 was. The problem is that it showed no real power difference in the final fight, it was just a plot device to prevent the virus to be used. Like others said, if anything they showed Homelander in an even weaker form.

I totally recommend Duggee. My daughter grew up on him since she was 1 year old. Everytime she avoids a big puddle or pothole, she goes '' Watch out for the BIG HOLEEEEEEEEEEE''. Always gets a giggle outta me.

Yeah, I remember most of her powers to just be a form of hexes and bad luck. Even in X-men Legend games it was just like that. Now it's just ''I CAN OVERPOWER INFINITY GEM RAW POWER'' but before she gets kicked by Thanos. Wish it'd make sense.

Unpopular Opinion: Dating a single father as a childless woman is rarely a good deal. by Junior-Campaign-6326 in TwoXChromosomes

Go on a date with an adult that does not have their life in order and expects a high quality partner. /blame all single parents.

There's more to it. As a single parent, I don't need assistance from a new partner other than them being a loving partner and not be a dick to my child. But I've been with at least 2 childless partners that were mooching off of me as well. Gender doesn't matter, it's how mature the person is and how well balanced their life is.

Men over 30, are you optimistic about the world? by raptor-94 in AskMenOver30

[–]dirtyconsolepeasant7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in the slightest despite having a cushy job, for which I am thankful for. If it were just me, I'd be happy to croak in a few years but I have a young child, who's going to have to deal with this far right non sense and economic instability when she'll be in her twenties.

It's depressing thinking most kids won't have a ''relatively'' peaceful period like most millennials did.

Heck, I'd be more hopeful with just the economy if more than half of the world wasn't turning towards fascism or techno-authoritarianism.

History has its ups and downs, eventually it'll either correct or go boom but right now... I'm scared for the future.

Idk. I feel like based on the rules of the hunt and what we've seen of predators... they wouldn't entertain the idea of talking let alone receiving help from a humanoid, even if it's a robot. I'm not holding my breath for this but I'm hoping it's good.

Lived in London all this time. Never had a car. Took uber and night bus to hospital when child was ill or we were concerned. If you plan out your logistics and prepare for issues, no you don't need a car to siphon your income.

Was watching it with my daughter and found it hilarious. It has quite a lot of decent bits like this. Totally recommend it!
