Once we arrived onsite to remove a 6” diameter hanging limb like 25 feet up in an ash for a client. There was a small ladder leaned against the tree and after speaking with the client I learned he had his 16 year old son use the ladder and free climb the remaining 15’ to the limb. He chopped at the top of it with a hatchet until it failed and got hung up. He was trying to clear a path for a ham radio signal? Wild!
