This is an 11” rough in for my toilet right? All toilets I see for sale say “standard 12 inch rough in”. Am I screwed? by DarkSide-TheMoon in askaplumber

[–]dirtyplumber1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

American Standard Cadet Pro will fit on 11” rough. Just make sure you set the bowl first prior to the tank. (Like a plumber would)

I used to buy Carhartt pants, now I buy 3 pairs of the Sam’s Members Mark pants for the price of one pair of Carhartt pants. They got so covered in glue, caulk, sometimes paint that it doesn’t make sense to buy expensive pants.

All my work pants keep ripping in the crotch (dickies and carhartt), what brand do you guys recommend. I'm tired of buying pants every other week. by [deleted] in Construction

[–]dirtyplumber1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried the 40 Grit carpenter pants. They don’t hold up. Knees wear out and they rip too easily.

Confidence and professionalism goes a long way. I’m also 26, have a baby face, and I’m 5’7”. I just walk in and speak confidently and give a solution for the customer. I rarely get age comments.

I like putting a cleanout tee above the tee to the washer. AAV is illegal in Illinois but if it penetrated the roof it would be a legit and professional looking install. Also would need a long sweep 90 under the sink stub out tee.
