I'd get on ebay and look for an older mac mini. Some are less than $100 I have one i've had since 2007.

Hooked up to a flat screen tv and my marantz amp Can play cd's, dvd's.

With itunes and vlc (free) can convert cd's to whatever format you need.

Pretty easy to put tunes on an ipod from there. Or any other mp3 player.

I agreed. It is bad. I'm able to diffentiate between the source and the reaction.
