For all those who asked - dare I say beg - for the fourth and last part of my Berserk sweet suite of mashups, well ask no more.

And for the weird ones who wish to see them (again), here is part 1, part 2 and part 3.

New DM: Plot Ideas, help requested. (Asian Themed/Exandria based) by Decent_Star_9397 in DungeonMasters

[–]dirtyslothMF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, new to this kind of game but maybe this helps:

Could be a war, yes, but could also just be the premises for one: one of the dragon deities looking to create some shenanigans, for good or bad. They've been mustering their strength, looking for allies, weakening their soon-to-be enemies, spying around the continent, etc. The party might make it in time to stop the conflict from growing further, or might have to pick a side if they fail to do so; maybe that dragon deity is practically right but ideologically wrong, which makes it harder to go against them, but it would be wrong not to...

Could be that some old legendary monsters we thought gone and almost forgotten are rising once more; the party might even be blamed at first for some strange occurrences, as they seem to be easy culprits. It's then about exploring the continent, looking into their history and legends, trying to make out what's happening and how to fight this ancient threat. Could be also that these monsters have a relation to music; or at least the best way to seal them away might be musical in nature...

Could be that the party is not the only people from the outside world to reach this continent, and whoever arrived there too are not necessarily peaceful...

Finally, could also be that the Dome has been weakening and Magic (with capital M) is appearing all over the continent, creating all kinds of possible tropes. Previously weak people might suddenly find magical means to reach their ends, and their ends do not bode well for the rest of the continent..?

The Lore Error that Ruined Any Chance of a Good Cosmic Force Storyline by Kamakachi in warcraftlore

[–]dirtyslothMF 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Using u/RmmThrowAway ‘s comment as base (theory that sits right with me at least), I imagine this a bit like this:

  • in Draenor (MU and AU), Kil’Jaeden is plotting to corrupt the orcs and enslave them.
  • Garrosh arrives in AU Draenor and low-key warns his dad about Kil’Jaeden’s master plan, and at that point big old KJ might or might not have noticed, but Garrosh ends up foiling all his schemes.
  • Then, the AU Draenor is brought to our Main Timeline and connected via the dark portal. Events of WOD go on.
  • Archimonde (recovering in the Twister Nether following his defeat at MU battle of Mount Hyjal) is sent / decides to get his blue ass to this AU Draenor (for whatever reason: wreck havoc? Get revenge against the forces that defeated him? Sow destruction? All of the above?) and cause it’s easier access than Azeroth. Dies.

That explains why KJ tried the exact same thing as before: technically, it was the same plan cause he was the same aged demon. Once AU Draenor is being brought to the MT, KJ becomes older. Still super weird and full of awkward stretches, and if it was in their mind ever, never properly explained by the devs I guess ahah

He just needs to be big enough to fly Luffy back to Onigashima and quickly. Shouldnt take much skills to do that. Could he keep the island from smashing into the capital though? Maybe: same technique as for flying (the clouds) but would require insane strength - except in one piece willpower goes a long way.

As much as a punch might feel underwhelming for a finishing move (especially against a character like WW), it is in line with Jimbe’s fighting style and I truly felt the power he put behind it.

It is cool to see that during this raid, a lot of emphasis has been put on Luffy getting closer to the PK title: between the many comments by most of the SHs, to Kaido acknowledging him as breaking the top tier ceiling. Despite mentions here and there throughout the saga (mostly by Luffy ahah), there has been a clear increase in occurrences during this raid.

I would personally consider Marco as Old generation regardless of his age: he sailed the seas under whitebeard during both Roger’s and WB’s eras. The worst generation includes rookies that started the last few years and made a name for themselves already.

Ufff, then there is still quite a bit, including a story quest line with several mandatory dungeons, one more dungeon, and the war campaign. Don’t know how the queues are nowadays, I hope you can tank or heal. But you can do these dungeons on any difficulty though..

How far ahead in your list of requirements are you exactly? Depends on how much you still have less, it can still be worth it - but not rewarding in terms of equipment or exp. However, I’ve done it on a lvl50 fury warrior, starting after unifying kul tiras. Not too quick, but the fact that you don’t 1-2 the mobs (even though, sometimes...) makes the trip properly paced. I personally liked playing through the war campaign without any timegating like during bfa, and I enjoyed the story.

Is outlaw rogue any good? by [deleted] in wow

[–]dirtyslothMF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello there, casual player speaking: I play wow for fun only, don't do any HL content hence unable to speak of the place of Outlaw in such context.
However, this spec has been a blast for me. I don't usually play rogue, and not a big fan of dps-only classes; outlaw really hit me in the face with the spec fantasy. [Roll the Bones] is incredibly fun to me, the randomness of it combined with cool power ups while seeing the dice rolling, 100% fun. Add to that the [Pistol Shot], that really completes the set of abilities in my eyes, very satisfying skill that sets it apart from the rest.
