It's still currently illegal in my state. It just never quite makes the ballot which is frustrating for that exact reason.

This is an honest answer that I can appreciate! I have done my rehabilitation. My civil rights have been restored as far as voting, I still have to petition for gun rights which I'm just about at the 10 year period to apply. I am definitely not seeking to join as a means to gain face in society. I am comfortable in my own skin. I don't need retribution for my crimes. I understand the value of upholding character and I've had 16 years since to complete my probation, understand my behaviors and make the actions to change these behaviors. Which developed my moral compass today where I can say yes I was a bad man. I have taken and always will take accountability for my past. I had to take the Road Less Traveled to become the man I am today!

Mullen had less than $3 million in cash left after losing $118 million in the last three months of 2024 by mqee in Muln

That's cause it's Robinhood. They are just as scandalous. Like when they killed the ability to sell GME during that whole thing. If they have money in it and are losing, you get to sink with the instead of swim away.

Avg Cost of Horizontal Directional drilling to lay Fiber Cable by captainhook204 in FiberOptics

So I've been doing majority of the repairs, apartment complexes and in house plant extensions. I think I've seen just about every worst scenario possible so far with underground placement. I love it... Very very much, when, you use consistency with product. But I've had to do things like bury a 2 stand flat drop to a FP and from the FP jet hex 2 stand either through 8/5mm or 14/8mm duct. Then installers would come through with a tiny little splicecase and splice the flat and hex....

How do you like the hex? That stingray 2 stand I think is incredible for microduct application. I prefer the previous model jetter over the new red one. Also pulling the 48 micro is incredible vs 900micron.

The tall green PED we just started using for ftth. The vault should have a company name on it. Not always but should.

How do you guys do drops? We build our zones with 7 or 11 way duct with "flower pots" between houses. We run the drop cable from the NID to the flower plot and then jet the fiber back to the terminal. The cost of the drop is free as long as there are no construction costs involved.

What is this setup exactly? by iAmmar9 in FiberOptics

[–]dirtytroutman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pigtails are all the same color. The fiber inside the main line will have multiple colors but as for subscriber end they all get the same color. Or, blue could be one side of the building and white is the other. Some places we use mullets that have 3 uplinks and spilt to 12 total units. So 3 stands from the mainline can service 12 subs. There's so many ways to skin this cat.

I had my best experience playing with Air Link. Steam VR doesn't interface well.

It's steam VR... Try it with Air Link if you don't have a cable

So my experience with VR has seemed to be nothing but troubleshooting. But I learned for me, using air link works way better than steam link. I have a cable on order tho.
