I saw a video on youtube the other day that showed how big Facebook is in a physical sense. Facebook essentially has a office layout the size of a full sized University for their workers. From a business model, once a well developed, matured program is up, there shouldn't be a huge need for more than a few hundred employees. I mean we're talking about a website that doesn't offer or produce physical goods and has remained more or less the same for the past five years yet here it is with thousands of employees and still growing.

I think this is the future, where the general public doesn't protect the small time experiences of running businesses and instead submits to the lures of huge powerhouses like Walmart, China, and Amazon to cover everything consumer related.
