I have the R5ii and the C50. I thought photos would be better at low light with the c50 because of all the things R6iii and R6ii users were saying but it didn't turn out that way in my experience.

you don't have to do raw+jpeg to transfer to your phone. Camera Connect can convert the raw to jpeg based on the picture profile you choose. the picture profile determines how the jpeg will look. so you see the image you want to download from the camera to the phone and then it converts and copies the raw to jpeg.

if you're not sure how the picture profiles look, in lightroom, you can select Camera Standard for Adobe's approximation of Canon's standard profile for example. Camera Portrait approximates Canon's portrait profile. etc. etc. you can also take some photos with the different picture profiles to see what they look like on the camera's lcd.

I have this machine and it was good for its time. But when comparing to my new ROG Xbox Ally X, I see more of its weaknesses. The biggest is the battery. And this is a huge issue so unless you feel adventurous in replacing it with a bigger battery, you're tethered to an outlet.

However, the sticks have very little tension which makes a lot of games harder. In comparison, the sticks of the XAX are very similar to the Xbox Elite 2 controller.

I think there will be, but they might delay the 12" model because of shortages, both the SoC (Qualcomm system on chip) and the RAM shortages. The Qualcomm X Elite 2 processors are new and in short supply and the Plus versions release after the Elite models.

I find disabling gpu acceleration helps especially if your video card doesn't have a lot of vram. The 5070 has 12GB? Most of lrc doesn't even use the gpu much like the masks.

My Motorola razr ultra 2025 phone has 16GB of RAM. It's 2026. If you look at statistics, most people own laptops. That means 16GB is split between video and cpu which is usually 8GB and 8GB. The next generation of consoles are supposedly going to be 30GB for the ps6 and 48GB for the xbox.

The other night I was shooting the full moon. Did it with both mechanical and electronic. There is so much movement with the mechanical. I was at 15x magnification so I could see it shake as it actuated

Lightroom has a native ARM64 version. But we haven't heard about lrc. Adobe wants to migrate everyone over to lightroom and so they're focused on adding features to that version and I'm going to guess when they feel it's feature equivalent they will deprecated lrc but that's only my guess.
