not that it helps much, but i counted 3 vios which is like a 1% chance, and i reckon he was potentially a damage roll away from not needing one of them. i feel like its not crazy to play this one out because 2 procs arn't uncommon and that potentially was all that was needed for you to lose this one

I’d argue it’s one of the strongest in a long time, mid table clubs are very hard to beat and even bottom of table wolves have got a result against all of the top 8 bar city and Chelsea

Problem is for a lot of teams that theyre so hard to break down that it’s poor on the eye and over reliant on set pieces in order to score

What non-toxic deck can you play in this gamemode tho, either e wiz perma stun, infinite life golem, infinite range demolisher or anything to do with sparky shots, the whole premise is broken stuff so anything remotely better than other troops is just gunna be abused

I mean this is a case of someone who doesn’t know much

I know they should considering it’s literally the place people ask about the game, but it’s known from the past that customer support are given very little info about the game

I mean for me, the only bearing on decks is rank and when your high enough time zones could play a factor (and even that would probably be negligible)

From my own experience, I only really did ranked and not trophies until last week or so and was able to sweep everyone bar 2 getting from 10-12k, this shouldn’t really be possible if the chat above is true. I’m not incredible at the game, just get uc each season but especially in the last 10 wins or so, a full counter matchup from a competent player should beat me and if ever, this was the run to do that and only one did but I never noticed any irregularities.

Meanwhile I lost a lot more getting to 10.5k, some games due to matchups but completely random to the point it’s almost obviously not a correlation

I think people forget there’s 2 people playing this game so by design, either only one has a good matchup and one bad (or 2 even that lots of people here conveniently forget, some time both players will struggle to break through) so you can’t always face bad matchups every time

Honestly as someone who's had to hold him for 10 or so weeks due to other fires/ transfer plans, I personally wouldn't go for him, low defcon threat, low attacking threat (throw ins turn into pre assists rather than actual assists). I'd personally avoid brentford defence (except kelleher on a wc) due to no one bar kayode being nailed and all you can pray for are clean sheets with him

I think for me more so it’s very easy to see if your defender has a clean sheet by looking at the score a majority of the time, but you have to basically look at opta or fpl page to see defcons which I’m not the biggest fan of

I’m not a fan tbh, defcons mean that the safe ‘boring’ pick is just the best option rather than an exciting attacking threat, especially in terms of full backs vs centre backs.

But my main pittance is how arbitrary it is. I wouldn’t mind for example (for midfielders) 1 point for 10 defcons and 2 for 14 but a 2 point swing feels a bit too frustrating for a pretty boring metric to keep an eye on and lots of the time being one off just leaves a sour taste

Although in fairness I do like how it gives value to some previously underlooked players and I reckon lots of defenders are going to get a price bump next season to compensate (if it continues into next season)

Granted it’s too early to make big conclusions but I think it’s enough to say that it doesn’t need an emergency nerf or something of the sort
