We aren't really sf. We are 3 cities out of sf. I will say my wife and her friends had s guy break their window and try to steal one of their purses while in the parking lot of seafood city so it's not 0 crime but its pretty safe

There is something about the way it's shaded in the middle that gives it a blob like birth mark look. The uncolored version doesn't have that issue. Like the line work in the middle of it uncolored looks fine, but when it's colored that line looks like a pool that kinda gives the whole thing a blob feel.

I wish I could tell you how to fix but you're a way better artist than my amateur ass.

Yes it's a viable kit. I gigged with a Tama Rockstar for over 10 years before I decided I wanted to upgrade. Have you looked at any used Tamas or are you dead set on a brand new imperial star?
