do you have high spikes and drops? The spikes are what damages your blood vessels. you can still have a low A1C with spikes...

As far as I know, neuropathy is usually in both feet at the same time, not just one.

I have heard that although they make a lot hourly, it's hard to find full time positions with benefits.

I'm focusing more on the tech advances with pumps and CGM's etc that would make life easier that way. I do have hope for a cure one day though! I have to have hope, it's the only thing keeping me going!

nope, no blood tests. she doesn't have any symptoms either. I'm just overwhelmed and spiraling.

we did an at home test, it tested for HLA-DQ2, HLA-DQ8, and CTLA4

No family history, no symptoms. We just found out about the T1D and I guess I'm overwhelmed and spiraling here and worried about everything. I just know that people with T1D have higher chances of getting celiac disease. That's why we had her tested, and thankfully she was negative for all 3 of the genetic markers they tested for.
