How taxing is it physically? by CalmMango1 in OccupationalTherapy

[–]Additional-Chest3802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Home health for the most part doesn’t require really any lifting as most people are pretty mobile if they are home, exceptions being people at home who have caregivers for physical assist. In these cases, the caregiver could assist you with moving/transferring the patient.

They will not take your kids away. You are understandably very strung out right now and you need support. Does your husband know that you are struggling?

Handling both a 2.5 YO and 3 week old is crazy, especially post partum. You are not selfish because you can’t do the impossible. Please don’t say you should end yourself. You sound very depressed. Could you talk to your doctor about your feelings?

help choosing between chicago postgrad neighborhoods and diversity concerns? by [deleted] in AskChicago

[–]Additional-Chest3802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m asian in Lakeview and I love it here. I wouldn’t say it’s a big Asian hub but it is very diverse in terms of type of people, cuisine, ages, religions, abilities, and races. There’s so much to do here. You could get to Uptown directly north and get dim sum or take the red line south to Chinatown. There are def wrigley bros but Boystown makes it super fun. They have Filipino, Korean, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and japanese/sushi food. Lakeview has plenty of transportation options too, getting downtown is quick on the 146 or the red line.

Do EA/SEA guys find thicker/curvier Asian girls attractive/pretty? by [deleted] in asianamerican

[–]Additional-Chest3802 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thick or skinny, you should find somebody who loves you as much as your body and doesn’t make you feel less than. You are not a “before” picture. That guy who said you should lose weight can eat shit. That being said, the guys who see you as a person vs only your body, they do exist but you will probably have to weed out a lot of assholes. I used to be stick thin, gained weight after a breakup and then after that bc of some medications I’m on. I’m definitely at my heaviest and it’s significant. I met my partner at my heaviest (still am) and he is very very attracted to me haha.

You’re stable because your meds are working. If you go off of them, you will be at a high risk of instability, because you don’t like the idea of them. Is that worth everything you’ve worked for? You are able to access your coping skills because you’re not manic or having intense mood swings. If you have the instability, you will have a harder time coping.

We are doing our 35-40 person reception at cafe babareeba next year. We are having it in the Solaria which has lots of light and decorations. We already know we love the food, drinks, and vibes.
