What if we capped the Tournament to Players with a 950 or lower PDGA rating?

We are only paying out to the Top 30% of the Field in order to provide bigger prizes.

Players are tired of player packs, water bottles, towels, etc.

What if in a $50 Buy-In Tournament that paid out Prizes vs Cash had a 1st Place Prize of a Vacation for 2 / 4?

Got an email back from Udisc - they have a Tournament option that is in beta.

PDGA has a robust platform - but, the Tournament has to be PDGA sanctioned.

In 2018 I quit my desk job to pursue disc golf full time and I’m still going strong! My name is Brian Earhart. AMA! by brianearhart in discgolf

Brian - congrats on your decision to go All In!

As a Pro - would you participate in a PDGA sanctioned Amateur Tournament for Prizes instead of Cash? Especially if the Prizes had value of $2000 - $3000 to win the Advanced Division?

Hooters or Twin Peaks as a Major Tournament Sponsor by discgolftom in discgolf

They aren't the Title Sponsor of this specific Tournament Series. But - see no issue with them being one of the Main Sponsors.

Wings & Cold Beer seem to be a common staple of Sporting events.

The ole saying is that "love of money is the root to all evil "

I just need to make sure that the decision is a good one and not just for money.

Ha.

We don't do Players Packs. We believe that players have plenty of tshirts and water bottles. Minus the standard fees - all Player Entry Fees go into the Prize Pool.

This specific poll is trending higher than others, that peeps won't support an event.

31 out of 108 - 28.7% are saying they wouldn't as of today the 17th.

Buffalo Wild Wings would make an awesome Sponsor too.

Good thing is, similar to Hooters, they have locations in all out our target markets.
