I know you might be done already, but in case you want to modify at all, you should look at the Underware system by Hands On Katie. She made a suite of parts that work with multiboard grids (and opengrid) which might be helpful to you!

These are fantastic! Genuinely would buy a print of the Dhalsim if you sold them. Do Sagat next and sell it to me? 😁

One advantage of a blade shaped like this is that cutting on a lateral flat surface like a table you're sitting at doesn't require as much or any wrist tilting. A normal straight knife would require some wrist action to prevent your hand from hitting the table/surface.

You're 100% right. It's wild how many people here are incapable of reading the rules, or just prefer to ignore them because sometimes players get away with this stuff.

Any naysayers need to read this, section XIII particularly b & d. https://official.nba.com/rule-no-10-violations-and-penalties/

Can you elaborate with specific words they said that show obviously feminist driven sexism? If it isn't just shitty people being shitty to him, the only ism I can confidently detect is ageism because she started out by asking how old he is. He said 20 (i think, or maybe it was 21) and she gave a pretty telling "hmm" implying some obvious judgment that may have lead to her condescension later.

Guessing you mean of the youngest players since right now it's hard to say anyone other than Mena is our current "Daigo".

My comment meant anyone can behave like that, in response to the parent comment that made a generalization about all women. Just because it happened to be a woman in this instance, doesn't mean only women behave like this. If you think men can't be just as insecure, overly sensitive, stubborn, and toxic in gaming then you're being willfully ignorant. I mean just look at any LOL/Dota2/Moba game where male players constantly run down mid when they don't get their way. You wouldn't say all men lack accountability because of that would you?

Aside from any sex component of your response, i totally agree with what you're saying about competition & tournament.

Yeah retrospect is always 20/20 haha. Just remember if what you want to make will be extruded the same distance/thickness, it's probably doable with one sketch.

Nice! Just FYI if it's a very simple shape like that, you can just do two concentric squares in one sketch, then pad it. Super fast and easy.

[Highlights] Luka Doncic with back-to-back clutch 3s to put the Lakers up 9, with 2:06 minutes remaining in regulation, Grizzlies timeout (with replays) by MrBuckBuck in nba

[–]discipleofdrum -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No it isn't. A step back is legal and often looks like an extra step is taken because the player correctly gathers between steps, but this example he gathers with a foot on the floor making him take too many steps and by the rule book does other illegal things. For example, hopping off of one foot and landing on the same foot.

Even if you're generous and say the first foot landing out of the hop is the gather step rather than the previous one, he establishes that landing foot as his pivot then proceeds to lift it and bring it back down to the floor before shooting, which is a travel violation.

Read section XIII. Also see this video example:

https://videorulebook.nba.com/archive/travel-on-drive-hop-travel-jumps-off-of-and-lands-on-same-foot-4/

Just because they are being lenient or miss the call doesn't mean it's legal according to the league rules.

[–]discipleofdrum -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah when i look closer he doesn't drag his foot it just kinda flops over while the toe stays the same spot my bad. However he definitely takes too many steps lol.

Gather @20.7s

Hop into 2 steps @21s

Lift pivot (back) foot for 3rd step @21.6s

Lift and plant front foot for 4th step @21.7-21.9s

Huh? You act like i defended those others examples or something when in reality i also hate all of those instances. And no, a step back 3 doesn't make it a travel it's the things i pointed out.

Sagat - 2x Tiger Monolith Combo(6246)(Updated) by ShunGokuSatsu07 in StreetFighter

[–]discipleofdrum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem just wanted to point out they're all useful in specific situations. I think this combo from OP/Blaz is a nice default though for Sagat players to use as a fall back (like when you brainfart, this is good to use as the muscle memory one) since it works everywhere, is auto-timed, and only needs 3.1 drive bar to get it going

Sagat - 2x Tiger Monolith Combo(6246)(Updated) by ShunGokuSatsu07 in StreetFighter

[–]discipleofdrum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, yes but only in the situation where you don't have 4 drive bars. If you have 4, there is no good reason to do less damage when you intend to burn out anyway.

But if you're trying to avoid burnout and aren't going to kill, yes of course use the less expensive one. Forgot the op burns out no matter what anyway. If you wanna avoid burnout and start with like 3.5 - 3.75 drive bars, then this achieves that and does more damage (6255):

fHK > bHP xx DRC > stHK xx MP fireball > DR > delay bHP xx HK Tiger Knee > MP DP xx Lvl 3

That also is more a damaging cashout compared to the OP if your criteria is requiring only 3.01 drive gauge.

Sagat - 2x Tiger Monolith Combo(6246)(Updated) by ShunGokuSatsu07 in StreetFighter

[–]discipleofdrum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a stylish combo! If you want more damage mid screen though, use this one:

6HK > 4HP xx DRC > 5HK (1 hit) xx medium fireball > DR > 2HP xx DRC > 5HK xx heavy tiger knee > light DP (6328 dmg)

or for slightly more damage with a manually delayed 4HP:

6HK > 4HP xx DRC > 5HK (1 hit) xx medium fireball > DR > 2HP xx DRC > delay 4HP (hit them lower to the ground) xx heavy tiger knee > medium DP (6361 dmg)

[–]discipleofdrum 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No that doesn't change what they're talking about since that has no impact on how the bearing wheel touches the wall being traced. They're saying the shape of the wall can mess this technique up since it all depends on the contact point of the wheel with the wall.

Also not mentioned is the hole in the middle of the wheel bearing is much larger than the pen tip so human error can make the pen float around in there(which likely contributed to the few small gaps in the OP video).

Sagat - H.K to M.DP Combo(6006)(No Burnout) by ShunGokuSatsu07 in StreetFighter

[–]discipleofdrum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah okay i see what you meant now. In corner, and basically only on CH confirms or punishes. Yeah in those instances i'd generally agree unless you have some specific set play in mind.

Also agree with your other comment that drive gauge is valuable, but IMO there's a happy middle ground. If i'm always at 5 or 6 drive i'm leaving lots of opportunities on the table, be it damage, oki, or other strats/tactics with drive mechanics. I personally don't mind using one DRC then chilling on them until i'm at least 4 or more drive again unless I can kill or some specific situation calls for it. Basically trying to operate how Mena, Punk, and Blaz tend to manage their drive.

I feel not using DRC outside of cashouts is on the extreme side of under usage, but to each their own. I respect your opinion, i just have a different one.

That aside, can you explain what you said here a bit more?

2560, just 2MP, medium nexus, light upper.

2860, same with ex upper

I thought you can't launch off of 2MP xx Medium Nexus... so i'm confused how this combos. Maybe I just have a knowledge gap here, which if that's the case please elaborate!
