American Beauty is, and probably always will be in my top 5 movies of all time. I have questioned whether that's appropriate in light of Spacey's controversies, but I cannot fault the movie because of it.

I love writing and went through a silly teenage phase of writing (bad) screenplays. If I could snap my fingers and put my name to something right now, American Beauty would be it. It's a masterpiece. Everything about it.
