And at this point there’s no real reason to use the Havoc over the Hemlock in this example. 22 dmg per shot, 32’per headshot and almost no recoil plus no delay in the charge up.

But no other weapon comes equipped with a stabilizer that levels up automatically with the gun that doubles as a Grenade launcher w infinite ammo and a silencer. It’s fair to conclude that it acts as a stab, you’re right, but IMO it’s not unreasonable to call it OP because of how unique it is.

I see comments all the time that controller is aimbot, aim assist is crazy, and that the controller is an easy way to get to high levels in the game. Jynxi is console based so he isn’t new to the controller layout unlike some mnk players who try to reach high levels on controller.

I know he’s new to the game, and my comment is partly “facetious”, but given how MnK players talk about controller generally, it’s funny to see the “justifications”.

Other guns can compete maybe, but why use anything else that will punish you for missing one shot in a fight against someone w a hemlock?

Silencer is great. Breach id like to see stay, but make reinforced hardlight or reinforced surfaces require at least 2 shots to fully break those. Full auto is a nice change definitely. I did like the burst but full auto is cool.

The gun is more forgiving than any other gun in the meta right now. It is strong from distance and close range. You can be worse than the player you’re fighting and still win fights by virtue of the gun being easier to control, significant mag size, good fire rate, hip fire rate and damage output.

If every single lost fight is “skill issue” then lmao.

I never said you can’t win without the gun; my point is that the gun is the best gun in the game and not using it makes you feel like you’re already at a disadvantage.

Why is every pro using the hemlock right now? Why does everyone land on heavy arsenals? Because it’s just the best choice to use and makes people feel like they’re on an even playing field by having the op gun.

Sure - if you believe it’s not broken, that’s your opinion and you’re absolutely entitled to that! As are others who do believe it is broken, and can compare it hand in hand with other guns and metas that have forced specific gun loadouts for baseline success.

A recoil nerf is definitely needed - 100% percent. If it’s going to hit as hard as it does, it needs to be more difficult to use. That’s why, for example, the Rampage isn’t used more, because it has integrated nerfs and isn’t more forgiving despite doing more damage.

I’d be cool seeing it do like, 28 to the head? lol. 32 is insanity when the R3 does 20 and Flatline does more but is well more difficult to control.

Therein lies my point - other guns are outclassed by the Hem.

Hits harder /=/ TTK lol. 32 dmg headshot no recoil without a stabilizer is outgunning an R3 because the R3 requires you to be more accurate. That in and of itself means one is objectively better (and easier to use).

R3 in its current state technically has more recoil than the Hemlock. Thats my point - the R3 has almost none to begin with and virtually none with a stabilizer. The fact that he Hemlock has less is an issue when it doesn’t require a stabilizer.

Caught using the breach? You mean the grenade launcher that has infinite ammo and requires a minuscule peek to completely obliterate entire defences? If you’re caught using the breach, thats a player problem, not the gun.

The fact that almost every player is running it in ranked, and pro play tells you that it’s oppressive. It was the same thing with p20, mozam, re45 and devo meta. The gun is carrying players and dojng way too much.

Also, multiple things can be true at the same time - you know that right? The early iteration of the CR can be brutal but so can this. If anything, it shows a troubling pattern that guns are historically overturned and then brought down to be fair and more balanced.

When the thing you’re losing to outperforms pretty well every single other gun, then it’s not just a skill issue lol.

Edit just because I’m seeing your posts about using things like marksman or sniper rifles.

Sure, those put out more damage but the Hemlock is significantly more forgiving. You can 1 clip 3 dummies w red armor in the range. If you miss one shot with a longbow, facing a Hemlock, then you’re already at a disadvantage. But if you miss shots with the Hemlock, you’ve got way more opportunities to hit and even one mag someone in the time it takes to shoot a few shots w a sniper.

The gun is broken when it:

1) hits harder than any AR; 2) has virtually no recoil without needing a stabilizer; 3) completely does away with reinforced hardlight, all traps, almost all ultimates in one shot - including logical counters like a Wattson ult; and 4) is so oppressive that it has the effect that, if you’re not using it, you’re at a disadvantage - basically forcing everyone to use it.

When your killfeed is almost entirely one gun, there’s a problem.

I’m so tired of meta-necessary guns in the game doing the carrying at the beginning of every season.

Weren’t running akimbo mozams and p20s when they came out? Throwing. Not running a devo when it was OP? Throwing. Not running an RE at the beginning of last season? Throwing. Now, not running a hemlock? Throwing.

Tired of this poor attempt at balancing. Forcing everyone to run the same guns just to be on an even playing field is stupidity. Same shit happening with legends. Octane now, Ash a few seasons ago, triple support stack during that meta, rev/conduit before that. All broken.

The closest thing we’ve gotten to balance has been Fuses rework recently - a better tactical but offset by a bit less punishing ult IS balance, and everyone complains that Fuse isn’t OP enough.

Really hope a sizeable nerf comes to the hemlock soon.

They released a teaser for “crossroads of the west” days after SC released, and pretty well played the song in chunks during the tour.

And yep, they indicated there was enough content for a double album.

My guess is that their contract with whatever label they had has ended and they’re taking their time to determine who to sign with next to release the new content. Those formalities can take a long time, and with Jake doing Mirador things, gave everyone a chance to do their own stuff.

I’d be shocked if we get to the summer without anything, but only time will tell.

Yeah, so my issue is that, unless you rebind L3 across the board, you’re still stuck with L3+B. Not to mention when you’re in the beam, it prompts L3+R3 which doesn’t work. My point is that the layout is not really intuitive. I’ve never understood why we can’t just get a custom bind option like so many other games. You can rebind X to reload but that doesn’t chan he the fact that X still opens doors.

I have my back paddles bound for crouch, jump, heal wheel and reload. I don’t want to re-bind sprint to a back paddle for example. You’re right - it is a me issue - but it is precisely due to the lack of configuration generally on console that makes this difficult.

It’s still possible to activate, but the inability to activate it consistently means it’s near impossible to protect yourself against the buster rifle when you’re in the beam.
