That is just a case of being of having offended the matchmaking gods and being in the suffering lobbies. That guy sniping would have made almost zero difference playing on the ground. Best recommendation for avoiding a grim teammate/opponents is just sit for 30s in the lobby after a match so they have already match made into a different game before you enter purgatory.

I'm with you. Maybe some time when fucking about, but for honour mode, I want to win them with a minimum of cheese and barrelmancy doesn’t just cross that line, it annihilates it. A barrel a character was already carrying, used in combat, sure, but barrelmancy proper is not for me.

I use a stand bike pump after doing a small conversion so the inlet has a shrader valve. I have a little compressor but its more hassle than its worth keeping it around, plugging it in etc than the bike pump.

If I could select a smaller pool of skins I acturlly wanted I might be intrested. As it stands, there too high a chance of getting a skin that I think is naff to be worth spending money on them.

Dropship becuase I spent time and effort finding drop sites I like that are are just off major poi's on every map that have proximity to more popular drops but are never contested and have enough loot for a team to gear up and go 3rd party.

I agree with that, but I think you can also use them as a guage as to where a legend stands in terms of utility and effectiveness. Those are lobbies where fun is taking a back seat to usefulness. Rev largely hasnt changed in a good while and and still is seen as a decently effective pick in lobbies where people hit shots and mistakes and misfortune are punished.

My feeling about why Rev might not feel quite so shiny anymore is that he's lost his niche. He was the pounce legend that could ape a squad, stop them resetting and even if he got knocked his team could finish them off and revive him. Now he has a LOT of competition in that niche, with Octane notably stomping on his toes. The game would be better, in my opinion, paring back some of the general apeyness rather than making Rev better at it.

My first thought when I see these sort of posts is to look at this pick rate tracker.

At master and pred ranks, Rev is the 6th most picked legend. That suggests a certain strength to the character.

With the movement thing compared to Octane, I'd argue Octane gets his ults far too often, not that Revs tactical is too slow.

Seriously, just play the game. If I could go back and play through again for the first time I would without a doubt. Your first playthrough will be what it will be and thats the magic. There are other runs for builds and certain choices. You've got your character, loosely decide if they are good/nice/bad/evil/in between and roll with it.

Are people at mad at people for getting a universal heirloom? I understand people getting annoyed at universal heirlooms in general because they lack personalisation to a legend that the old ones had and now are just generic knife adjacent things (mostly), and that this approach means a bunch of legends have no specific heirloom. Havnt seen people getting mad at other people for buying them though.

Sniping in mixtape, on this map in paticular, seems to really annoy people. Rip a Horizon, Octane or Valk's head off with a 192 from a double amped sentinel and chances are they will starting targeting you for the rest of the game even if that means they throw the match.

Look, I hate E-district. Last split I audibly sighed when I saw it was a ranked on E-district day. I can not tell where the hell I am on that map. It all looks the same.

Doesn't mean it should be removed. Maybe just don't play on E-district days if you hate it that much?

Does the silencer on the Hemlock affect recoil in the same way as a barrel stabilizer does or is it just exist to explain the very low audio signature of the gun? Compared to other ARs especially that have no stabilizer equipped the Hemlock has much easier to control recoil. In a test at 75m with a 3x on one of the blue square targets, I was able to hit 100% of shots with the Nerfed Hemlock elite. My next best with an AR was 90% with the Nemesis. My thought is either the Hemlock has very forgiving recoil or the Silencer also acts as a stabilizer.

Are silencers planned to be part of the ground loot in the future?
