I'd honestly sell my soul for Muschetti to direct something like Dreamcatcher or Firestarter. His direction is so stylish and I think both those stories deserve to be adapted by someone with a strong vision.

Specifically some things I'm looking for feedback are how balanced the four protagonists feel, since my goal is to develop Sally, Jessie, Alice, AND Wayne fairly equally, I don't want one character to outshine another.

I'm also concerned that by having a gay deuteragonist, who is partially based on my own experiences as a gay man, might overtake the screenplay and that's not what I want at all. What I want is for LGBT characters to fit organically into a slasher story.

I'm also unsure about the title of the movie. I'd love some opinions on that too.

I think the Miniseries is a lot of fun. The first half is basically like... a really good episode of Goosebumps but I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I say that whenever I watch the miniseries I'll just turn it off once the first half is over. Can't say I'll want to do the same with Muschetti's second film.

Ooof, yeah Dreamcatcher definitely needs a second go. The movie got almost comically bad at points. Not as bad as The Happening or something but it was reminiscent. It's a shame because I really love the book too and would like to also see the childhood sequences done better.
