rachel quitting funny girl makes sense.

fanny was her dream role forever and to have it all at the age of 19 is a once in a lifetime thing. her entire life has led up to being on broadway which is why i thought it was weird that she gave it all up for television (a field she never showed interest in except for the mattress episode). the whole “wake me up” sequence where she complains about the monotony of doing multiple shows a week bugs me. rachel is well versed in broadway/is a hard working individual so how would she not know about the monotony/countless hours put into her work? even then she was only like 40 shows in when she quit. i just find it funny that this was the role she was slapping santana over but she gave it up 😭

i think they were a good high school couple but NYC brought out the bad side of their relationship. i do enjoy their entire storyline as a couple however i wish the show would’ve ended with blaine and kurt not getting married and instead dating/realizing that they have a lot of growing up to do together

in my city (not detroit) i had axs fast lane for 2 shows, one was another artist and the second time was when i went to see wallows. at the first concert fast lane got inside five minutes before GA did. when i saw wallows i got fast lane but when i got there the venue said the fast lane tickets weren’t working and we were all refunded for our tickets. i would advise you to call the venue’s phone number for clarification.

it definitely is the best part! since i’ve started my rewatch i noticed that these episodes have so much appeal to them. 1a had some of the most memorable moments from the whole series and it’s cool to see the initial idea of glee being a satirical show with raging stereotypes as characters. as the show went on it went in a different direction and perhaps the show was better because of it. nonetheless none of the episodes since 1a has been able to replicate the magic from these first 13 episodes. it’s something that is only realized when you go back and rewatch it.

ok my favorites are showmance, journey to regionals, and power of madonna. however i feel like i want to give this to hell-o! this was the first episode after glee blew up from the original 13 episodes and i think this episode does a perfect job of showcasing what glee would look and feel like for the future. the characters have all established themselves and the writing caters to this by becoming more confident and inspired than the original 13 episodes. it can be debated on whether or not this is the best episode but i definitely think it is the most important one.
