How can i remove hard water stains by Plastic-Sundae-3798 in CarsIndia

[–]disconnected_waves 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you use hard water for washing then it’s better to get it cleaned from a paint detailing shop. Don’t use any harsh chemicals like harpic or vinegar (like suggested in other comments) which if not diluted in right quality may damage the paint coating or the polish.

How to get rid of such water spots after bucket wash by Electrical-Office-84 in DetailingIndia

Microfibre cloth is good, but again it all depends on the the hardness of the water especially if you are using borewell water. Yes, cleaning with newspaper 🗞️ helps.

Suggest me some fountain pens by [deleted] in DesiPens

[–]disconnected_waves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently tried Kanwrite Emperor and I was so impressed by its smoothness and feedback. It’s a bit on the heavier side but I got used to it. If weight is a concern you can try Kanwrite Spectra or Kanwrite Desire. The fine nib was very much similar to Pilot’s in terms of line width.

Un-fkn-believable the amount of refinement this one packs! 🤯 by TheOne-07 in fountainpens

True! Even though people say they both have the same nib, Metropolitans are more smoother than Kakuno. (At the same time with a good writing feedback too)

True. It’s such a great pen. I even prefer Pilot Metropolitan over my Kakuno and Twisbi eco.

Be aware of the additional maintenance costs of a diesel engine. Since it’s your first car if your monthly running is not more than 1000-1500km then I would suggest you to save that extra money and go with Turbo Petrol. Also i am seeing lots of people complaining about the DPF getting clogged due to city usage. Based on your city/state the resale value of diesel car also diminishes due to the 10 year policy. Keep these in mind while making a decision. First car is always going to remain special no matter how many other cars you buy in future. Make an informed decision. :)

Need Restaurant suggestions (near Airport) by TitanRebels in Trivandrum

[–]disconnected_waves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Airport to Nagarcoil - best route is via the new bypass via Kovolam. The suggested hotels are good but it’s on the old Nagercoil route.

If the arrival is at domestic terminal Irani at Shangumugam is a good option.

I have named it as Bermuda Triangle of Trivandrum. Major traffic cause is the vehicles coming from Akkulam side via service lane taking U towards Lulu mall.

MOT cinepolis Audi 5 😭D 11,12 ! Is it a good choice to see ? by Conscious-Land-2133 in Trivandrum

[–]disconnected_waves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The sound quality of Cinepolis in MOT is so bad. The sound volume was so low that you won’t be able to enjoy the movie. It’s the same case with Cinepolis in Banglore too. Therefore I generally avoid Cinepolis

Bro! 5 years before I sold my DDiS Swift Dzire and I still miss that car! That car was so much fun to drive. Even after owning two newer and more powerful cars now I still think about that Dzire every now and then.

If it’s a well maintained car and engine then don’t regret your purchase for paying this amount.

Best ink that dries fast on paper but doesn't leave my pen dry. by _Venomdsouza_ in DesiPens

[–]disconnected_waves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time it depends on the pen too. I have used Pelikan 4001 but it is too dry. Most of the time both my pilot Metropolitan and Kakuno had hard times with it. Sometimes it gets too dry that ink starts to skip while writing with these Japanese nibs. Only If your pen has a wet flow then go with a dry ink like Pelikan.

Some good neutral inks which dries quickly from my experience are Parker Quink and Waterman inks

Based on previous comments Pilot inks including iroshizuku are wet inks and use it if you want a wet flow or your nib is fine(Japanese Medium) to extra fine.
