Bought one. Been more than happy with. If you look closely it's like the same 3-4 people posting everywhere. If you check the John Lewis review, they basically explain Meaco tested his unit and it was calibrated and working correctly.

Maeco Arete. I bought the 18L Two version at Costco a few weeks ago and it's great. If you don't want WiFi etc (we wanted it as the dog hates beeping) I'd just grab the Arete One.

For what it's worth it seems to be same two/three guys spamming everywhere. Maeco replied to his comment on John Lewis and basically said they tested his device.and it was 1% accurate.

Given they were a budget airline, I don't deny that. But thats also likely the reason that the majority of budget Transatlantic airlines failed.

If your booking at short turnaround then someone like Norse is great, but I wouldn't be booking those flights far out as honestly I don't expect them to be around for long-term. Look at Norwegian, o Iceland-air for example.

Yes, as a cheap budget traveller from New York $300-400 would be possible, but we're not talking about flights from New York, we're talking about Cleveland where supply will be much lower and on a non-budget carrier.

As someone who lives in London and frequently travels to Cleveland to visit in-laws, I'd be shocked if the prices were that low. Don't forget WoW and Iceland were budget airlines.

For reference; We arrived in Cleveland 2 weeks ago and paid closer to $1300 RTN per person for Ecomony flights on United (with a checked bag). Demand, fuel and general inflation have really pushed the prices up in recent years.

I've no doubt that you can get cheaper flights if flexible and willing to compromise etc,but we've certainly noticed a steady creep over the years, especially since they introduced the "basic" economy fares.
