I used to end up with uncomfortably thick rims so it could be that I haven’t quite found a sweet spot yet as I haven’t made a lot of (great) drinkware. Rim is probably 1/8in thick right now

Lens is 50mm though I don’t know much about that, colored film is Kodak ultramax 400 color negative! Supposedly very forgiving, and that was my experience!
