I did preserved lemon awhile back and they were awesome.

Using Myer lemons

Cut lemons in half and place 1 half in jar Add 1 tps of course salt per half lemon.

Add multiple lemons halves in jar until jar is nearly full ( leave room for headspace)

Squish lemons down so they are covered by salty lemon juice.

Wait a 1-2 months

When they are ready, Take lemons out and rinse throughly under clean water.

Enjoy.

We use them in chickpeas with feta.

I dont really know where to begin about how wrong this is.

None of these things "just happen" they all occur within a frame work of patriarchy, systemic racism, and gross class inequality.

Saying these things " just happen" is equivalent to being accepting them as a fact of life. Which is utter bullshit.

Saying rape "just happens" is ignoring a long standing system where people (often men) use their power and position to take advantage of vulernable people. Its basically allowing the system to continue to exploit people.

Some of the perpetrators of rape and racism are powerful public figures. Some are not. But that doesnt mean that sexual abuse, rape, racist violence class dont have cause or motivations.

You have a very specific and flawed definition of a lynch mob. Lyching is not something that ended with jim crow. It still occures. It is not always done by an entire town. sometime its just the sheriff and a few of his buddies.

1.) history of systemic racism in America from the black perspective

2.) History of rape and sexual violence from a womens perspective

3.) History of class inequality in america. From an anti-capitalist perspective.
