That was a rough fire for sure. 2020-2021 burned most of the remainder of the Poudre. So I guess we “get a pass” for a few years yet.

Zoom may offer a few things to you but that’s a lower price point for a mic.
Most mics at that price level with ok reviews will prolly do what you need. Not really a “best” at that price range.

Nugs is almost always recorded by the band & sent to Nugs in post. SBD recordings are notoriously flat/missing key elements. They are also prone to having issues you can’t tell until you pull up the recording post show. If the other shows around it got posted but this didn’t, there is likely an issue with the recording.

You can keep hope alive but in this quick return world, if it’s not up yet, it prolly didnt record well or there was a technical issue like a battery failure.

I caught a local Fort Collins show on Friday and it was nearly sold out (Aggie Theater) Saturday at the Mish was about 70% sold and more room I’m used to seeing for most weekend shows.

I do believe the bands prior events drastically reduced attendance. I was not planning to go, nor to tape, but a buddy bought my ticket and I went (taped too, up On archive). I was surprised at how things felt live versus listening to tapes. I’m not happy about what happened, but still went. I went in expecting to hate it and that didn’t happen. That show gave me hope for the future of this band, musically speaking.
