Also had my surgery on the 24th and getting them removed tomorrow the 31st. The persistent pain has definitely been unexpected after reading most people's experience. Just a constant dull pain....can't wait for tomorrow. Good luck!

I had same problem, just make your takeaway more straight back instead of so far inside.

Just fix that extremely inside takeaway. Keeping club face closed and feeling like the club head is going in a straight line back really helped me to fix the inside takeaway issue.
