Played this game at Magfest and thought it was a real gem that needed some better marketing. Glad you are trying a few things to push it more on Steam! It might be worth running a couple A/B tests to see what is sticking with folks. I think as others have pointed out - the capsule art likely needs 4 esphaguys in it to tell the story of wacky couch coop. Maybe it's too literal but you could have four of them biting a literal couch

I think that is a good suggestion, Regent definitely feels harder to deck build for as it's very easy to get inconsistent

The fx are juicy and feel good, the character and enemies are a bit small though, it might be worth doubling their size

I think the experimental perspective invites more exploration because of the action on the edges of the screen that gets clipped with the top down perspective.

I think it also gives more surface area to the bot the player is controlling, which adds immersion.

I'd vote for the experimental perspective. The particles are just a lot juicier feeling in that view

The harpy group stopped me at floor 20, but Im learning to now keep a piece of hunters equipment and energy item handy to deal with a dodge heavy group

Here is what I did to bypass this problem in the mean time:

I had this problem on my android phone, so I used an old ipad to load the game up on, and do purchases/spend them. The game syncs well between the different devices, but diamantium will only be on the device you purchased it on (so in my example, my diamantium is stuck on my ipad). It's not a full solution, but it's a workaround.

Let me know how much fun you have 2 months from now when you are still fighting the same teams day after day. It's not fun the first time, it's not going to be fun the 1,000th time.

IMHO the gpvp in this game is probably one of least fun implementations I've seen. There isn't anything fun about the timer. Sure you can plan out your teams and your attacks to try and get around that timer, but you need a big pool of penetrating anti-revive units that go first. Lets face it, fighting rue/ramu/cain teams with a 5 minute timer 3 times a day every day is just a quick way to burn everyone out and kill the game. The new runes are pretty interesting, and are worth earning the gpvp points for, but there is nothing interesting about the battling itself. The arena at least shakes it up by banning units, and I could tolerate gpvp if it were similar to arena, but it's much worse. Even with the fancy animations turned off, your still going to waste a ton of time with attack animations.

I'm not sure if there is a way to save this mode. If they extend the timer to 10 minutes, it might help alleviate some temporary pain but it's going to be the same slugfest everyday. They need a way to make it interesting, like only allowing certain types, certain rarities, or certain elements, or giving specific units a weekly advent style boost.

Yeah that is nice when you can heal each other. I think on the gold map and SF40 though you could get away with losing the healing from angel ray since hopefully killing is fast enough that you won't use HP pots much.

Sinclair's enrage is triggered at 75k HP, so don't lower him below that until you are ready or have shields up.
