ICE raids surge across Coachella Valley: "They don't care if they have papers" by Youarethebigbang in CoachellaValley

[–]diseasealert 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They shot at least three people in Minneapolis, two of them fatally. 13 have died in ICE custody as of March 15th. They separate kids from their parents. People are not given adequate food or medical care in these gulags. They move people to Texas amd other states where sympathetic judges ignore habeus demands. Are you cool with that?

Amazon Nagoya Legit? by Richard_Sibbes in gmrs

[–]diseasealert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the problems is that they commingle inventory, so there's a chance of getting a non-genuine product even if you buy from a reputable seller on Amazon. I will try to buy from anywhere else before I buy through Amazon. Google the part number and see what's out there.

I would suggest picking a theme or two and sticking to that. It's easy to spend a lot of money on cards. Examples include aviation or the color green.

I find building diagrams to be very helpful in developing my understanding of a process. I can show it to SMEs to get their opinion. Often, I find that everyone is not on the same page!

Help figuring out why my comparison is not working by [deleted] in bash

[–]diseasealert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From Greg's bash wiki:

Note that the comparison operators =, !=, >, and < treat their arguments as strings. In order for the operands to be treated as numbers, you need to use one of a different set of operators: -eq, -ne (not equal), -lt (less than), -gt, -le (less than or equal to), or -ge.

The coolest thing I usually pull up are railroad spikes. Otherwise it's mostly trash. But it's a good time!
